Not my first time I've been blown away by the Duck entree here. Tonight's was EXCEPTIONAL, and I eat duck everywhere in the East End. Ambiance: groovy room, alive but not too loud Service: smart & knowledgeable, but he 'got' that we were too - great menu guidance, not pushing anything. I trusted the opinions. (not always the case!) Prices: were kind for the zip code. Wine list as well.

Extremely unfriendly and arrogant staff. We got told off after my disabled dog barked twice in her buggy. Have not tried the food as we left after this unwelcoming experience.

We love coming to Almonds for a bistro meal, and charming friendly welcoming. They work as a great team, feels like family. We have been coming for a hundred years ??????

This was our first time there. You walk in and it does feel like feel like a French bistro. The lighting is soft yet not dark, and the music is French pleasant. We went for Valentine's Day and was pleased to see both a price fixe menu and the regular menu. The two vodka cocktails were perfect! We started with the Brussel sprouts salad (A rating) and the mussels (A-). The mussels themselves were great, fresh and meaty. The broth was good, just lacked a little salt but it was terrific. I was able to get the Fluke prepared on the price fixe versus the regular menu and it was just delicious! General Tso's flavoring with sticky rice and broccolini, (A). The other entree was the skirt steak(A-) with frites(A)......was a tad too red for medium well, but it tasted great. Dessert, an olive oil corn bread cake also, delicious. And the service was upbeat and happy, even though we were there later than they are usually accustomed to. Menu had a good variety and an interesting twist/fusion with Korean cuisine as well. V Day is usually a hallmark holiday evening when we stay home and prepare our own meal. This year was different and I'm glad we went to Almond. We will definitely be back! I would give Almond another 1/2 star if I could at 4.5......

I liked the martini, just tell them not to put ice, even crushed ice in it.

It was great to try to this wonderful restaurant out in the dead of winter when we didn't have to fight traffic to get there. Lovely atmosphere and the menu has a wide variety of good choices. We especially appreciated the $39 Prix Fixe menu (check day/time restrictions).

Best restaurant I've had the pleasure of dining at in the Hamptons, bar none. The chef's touch with spices and grilling vegetables was comparable to Boulud in NYC. Atmosphere is great, fun and warm. I had asked for a non alcoholic drink and was presented with this delicious one - Ginger & Lime, I had 3! Staff were on it, on time. Lucky to find and will be a regular customer from now on.

Excellent food, service and environment. Ate at the bar and the bartender was great. Sorry I didn't take any pix.

This was our 2nd time at Almond. The service was wonderful with the full staff stepping in to make sure all your needs are fully taken care of. The food was FABULOUS! We shared the mezze for two as an appetizer and could not finish it. It was beyond delicious and a perfect way to begin our dining experience. I had the beef bourguignon (Saturday special) and my wife had the mussels and fries for dinner. We both loved the way our meals were prepared and plated. I had a glass of their house cabernet sauvignon which paired very nicely with the beef. Overall, a wonderful experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Overall it was a very nice New Year's Eve dinner. The only detractor was our waiter, who seemed a bit clueless and untrained, and completely disappeared towards the end of our meal.

Love Eric, the owner. Staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Wine is really good, though a bit expensive. But I wish the chef would simplify his dishes, stop putting so many decorations/flavorful additions to basic fish, etc. Too much stuff on every plate. Good flavors, but too much. And the place can be quite noisy when full.

Burger night! The burgers here are another level. The meat is from Happy Valley where they take good care of there animals. Choice of Swiss or cheddar. Turkey burgers are also available which it was my first time trying that one out... so good!! They have so many cool fries you can substitute for an up charge. The bread n butter pickles are what got me into pickles. This is a must try spot in the Hamptons. They support locals to the max and you can taste it in the food. Fresh, local nearby markets who can beat that!? The Red marks on the menu indicate what local farmer or market they are from. The specials are a great price with a great ambiance. And the Prix Fixe!! They are not small portions I'll tell you that . French and Asian cuisine with a hint and specials of everywhere else!
