A little expensive for bagels/bagel sandwiches but for shelter island, nothing out of the norm. Bagels are well worth it. They have some fun favored bagels (I tried the za'atar) and some unique cream cheese flavors. It can get pretty packed but they are pretty organized and get your order prepped quickly. Glad to have this addition to Shelter Island!
On our crusade for the best NY style bagel on LI, we stopped at The Eccentric Bagel on the way to the Hamptons from the North Fork. One of the best bagels that we had while in Long Island. The crust was crackly, the crumb was dense and chewy...in short these were some of the best bagels. I will say that the breakfast bagel sandwiches are huge and should be shared. Definitely would stop for a bagel if you're in Shelter Island.

Eccentric bagels are unlike any other bagel I’ve ever had, they are almost like a sandwich on their own. I always buy extra and freeze to have in the house. Staff are friendly and the owners are around and very hospitable. A must in the hamptons and surrounding areas!
