Outstanding. We came over from sag harbor and thoroughly enjoyed everything and everyone from hostess, to presentation to food. Have already shared with friends and neighbors
The food was just extraordinary. After a couple of bumpy seasons- they have hit their stride. The mushrooms with Parmesan cheese is just delicious. The cold lobster cocktail was really generous and prepared nicely. And the fries- potato wedges- are amongst the best in the island. Love to eat outdoors on their gorgeous patio weather permitting. Congratulations to Chequit for really upping the food!

The Chequit Restaurant offers a pub-like atmosphere with a nice refresh and a busy and lively vibe. The menu features tasty dishes, including crunchy rice with tuna, delicious burgers, excellent miso cod, and delicious duck ravioli. Save room for dessert, as the peach tart and apple crisp are particularly impressive. Thursday’s happy hour and buck-a-shuck is the best on the island, featuring oysters, shrimp, and clams. While service can be slow, the staff is friendly and attentive, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. Guests should be aware that the black ceiling is pretty low.
