“Jan’s Chinese Food has the best Chinese food in the North Fork. They are known for “take out” dishes. Everything is very fresh, and perfectly prepared, with daily specials that are always a treat. Be sure to try their pineapple chicken, pad thai or Thai chicken, beef or shrimp with asparagus. Andy who runs Jan’s always has a smile on his face, so it’s a pleasure to do business with him.“

“Definitely among the best Chinese take-out places in town. Not a place to dine, but easy enough to get a full dinner of good food at a decent price.
A big down-side is the lack of any delivery service. Not Uber Eats or Grub Hub or any of the usual go-to's. None.
The plusses: eggrolls are nice and big and quite good. Wanton soup was delicious, and even one pint is enough for two. The sweet and sour chicken had a good crisp with perfectly cooked chicken, although the dipping sauce just needs a tweak or two as it runs on the sweet side. All in all, quite pleased and will return.“

“Excellent great taste fresh products Chinese cooking. Pork ribs on the bone superb. The soups are great. Chicken and broccoli. They use great tender chicken breast white meat. Old school Chinese cooking, get it while it’s still available.
I live in Manhattan and it’s better than my takeout there. Highly recommended.“
