One time my card was hacked and I didn’t know, I called back to tell them to forget it and they gave me my food without me paying bc I ordered so much. Told me pay them back next time. “We drove an hour and a half after finding Tang Yun Noodle House on Instagram, and it was absolutely worth the trip!

The hospitality was amazing from the moment we walked in. We were greeted warmly and felt welcome right away. We had the pork ramen and the pork and chicken ramen, along with their specialty mango drink. Everything was delicious, and that mango drink was awesome!

I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. “Great food. Owners are very friendly. Whenever we travel with my father likes to eat more asain food. This was a wonderful local spot. I no longer live in the area and my failed attempts to trying to find anything remotely close to the level Panda Garden set for me is impossible. They have in recent years changed what they did to their dumplings which was a big downgrade for me but I still dream about the orphanage chicken with vegetable lo mein once a week. Every time I go a while without having Wild Rice, I order it once and immediately want it again the next day and every other day that follows. So no, all Chinese food is definitely not the same. Wild Rice has actually created a different problem: once you get used to their food, you don’t want Chinese food from anywhere else.“

“I recently had such a great dining experience at Splendid Noodle in Stony Brook, New York!

I ordered the roasted duck with hand-cut noodles and extra vegetables, including fresh bok choy, and it was truly an authentic experience from start to finish. One of the coolest parts was being able to watch the chefs through the kitchen as they prepared the noodles—either hand-pulling them or cutting them with a knife right before serving.

The broth was flavorful and incredibly savory without being overpowering or overly salty. On the table, they had homemade chili oil with chili flakes, which was a huge plus for me because I personally love some spice. I added about two spoonfuls, and it gave the dish exactly the kick I was looking for!

The restaurant has that true hole-in-the-wall feel, but don’t let that fool you—this was an amazing meal. I couldn’t even finish the entire bowl, so I ended up taking the rest home and having it as a second meal for dinner later that evening. It still tasted great reheated!

I also have to give them credit for their takeout packaging. I noticed that they pack the noodles separately from the broth, which is such a smart touch. If you’re getting your food delivered or taking it home, the noodles don’t arrive completely saturated and soggy.
