Mediocre at best. Three stars for the old school sit down Chinese-American dine in vibey experience, but the food we ordered was so bland I took it as leftovers and it needed sooooo much sautéed garlic, soy & oyster sauce and a dab of toasted sesame oil at home to make it edible. We got a bunch of Lunch specials because we happened to be there during lunch so they came with pints of wonton soup that required a magnifying glass to see the meat inside the wontons. I love this place. They have the best Chinese food in my area. My favorites are there sautéed string beans, their pork fried rice & their BBQ'd ribs on or off the bone. Any of their dishes are freshly made. Take out or dine in. They have dinner specials as well. The staff is courteous and has excellent customer service. You won't be disappointed.

Used to take out fairly large orders from Lotus East about once a month when I'd get together with my parents and siblings and would also eat there occasionally. It was always very good. I've migrated to more authentic Asian foods offered by the local establishments near SBU, but I sometimes have an urge for old-school Cantonese.
