“Great local Chinese restaurant with large portions and great prices, especially lunch specials. The owners and staff are very friendly, and service is quick, even if you decide to order at the place and take out. Love their brown and garlic sauce, which I compare regularly amongst local Chinese places. Food is always hot and the place is very clean, though I do wish that they had some sit down tables. Will continue to visit.

“One of the best take out Chinese restaurants! Food always taste fresh. They’re very efficient when it comes down to the wait time. Never worried about having cold food cause that will not happen. Everyone provides the top notch services and this place is very accommodating. Pricing is reasonable for the portion of food you’ll get. Highly recommended. Bonus: boneless spareribs with pork fried rice is always the favorite food to get“

“It’s a good restaurant and probably a family owned. There was a kid who worked liked a waiter which is a bit weird. The food was really good. Somehow we noticed that the spicy chicken we ordered is a fried chicken. Rest all, foods were good with vegetarian options. One thing to note they really don’t do card split. It’s only one card policy.“

“Good Chinese food is really really hard to find. Picked this place on a whim based on reviews. Ordered shrimp with lobster sauce, shrimps were cleaned and cooked perfectly. Veggie lomein, steamed veggie dumplings, fried baby shrimp, roast pork chow mei fun, wonton soup, and a free pt of pork fried rice (that I didn't even have to ask for). Everything was cooked well and tasted great. Will be back.“

“Lost a star with the new ordering app and rewards. I order from the Commack and Hauppauge locations 3-4 times a week and am definitely earning rewards at what feels like a much slower pace. Liked the look and feel of the old ordering app better too. Otherwise good food. Don’t let technology block you from ordering from or eating here. Staff at the Hauppauge and Commack locations (I use both) get a shout out cause my order is always 100% correct“

“Moved out here from Brooklyn and had not been impressed with previous Chinese takeout choices near me. Dah Lee came through big time. I was greeted and taken care of immediately when I came by to order some takeout. The chicken and garlic sauce was delicious, even though it was actually a little sweet. The fries were fresh and crispy. The steamed pork dumplings were juicy from whatever the pork is marinaded in. The fried rice orders were perfectly prepared as well. Good prices for the area. This is my new go to spot for Chinese takeout, and the entire family agrees.“

“One of the best Chinese food in the area. I usually have to go to Levittown to Fortune Wheel to get authentic Chinese food but this is great too. Some of the best items we had so far were the pea pod leaves which I have only seen on the fortune wheel menu these are so delicious simply made with garlic and oil a must try if you love veggies like spinach. Also great were the soup dumplings, lettuce wraps, yang chow fried rice and the dry pepper chicken and shrimp Lastly the wonton soup had a nice dark delicious chicken broth. We have only had takeout twice. But we plan to dine in next time.“

“Although a little far away at Centereach, this place is definitely worth visiting for their amazing food. They do have a long menu and plenty of options to select from. Tried their kung pao chicken and fish fillet in spicy sauce. Don't judge this place for the empty tables as most people I saw were doing takeaways.Overall, the experience was great and can't wait to come back!“

“I had the lunch menu of pork fried rice, pork egg roll and boneless ribs. Everything was good but the pork ribs. They were very dry. I could hardly cut them and very dry. I would not order them again. The people seem friendly enough.“

“Great food, clean place but it isn't really set up to dine in, which is fine for me, but others may like the option. If you're looking for a solid place for Chinese food and don't mind taking out, this is a pretty good choice. Also, the staff is super friendly despite how busy they are.
Vegetarian options: You can order both vegetable and bean curd (tofu) variations on nearly all dishes.“

“This is a take out restaurant and it is built and appointed that way. The food is usually excellent but they can be busy at times. This store is in a mostly vacant shopping center in Coram. Try the boiled dumplings. We also like the house special fried rice and egg Foo yung.
Parking: Plenty of parking but the parking lot is very busted up.“

“One of the best Chinese food takeout spots around. Food is consistently good it has been owned by the same people for years. Prices have not gone up too much since before Covid and the quality has stayed the same.
They’re sesame chicken is great and chicken and broccoli is another favorite“

“My favorite Chinese takeout place. Their servings are generous and everything tastes fresh. Meat is trimmed well so even the pork ribs have minimal fat. They also have online ordering so I don't have to talk to anyone on the phone and my boyfriend/family usually answers the door so I don't have to engage with any human being I don't know at any point!NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH PANDA EXPRESS. This place is much better in my opinion.“

“Classic, reminds me of my younger years on Long Island. Nicely tasty and straightforward. Very accommodative of special dietary needs - no soy sauce for me, no sesame oil for another in our party. I had the cabbage and pork soup - for two and ate it all with gusto! I also had Singapore noodles, which I like very much and here it was presented with good curry taste but not hot (which I enjoy but most others in my party do not). They use trolleys to serve and clear, so there is always a bustle and rumble which is distracting.“

“I brought my Mom here for a sit-down lunch. This is awesome classic chinese food. The sesame chicken is awesome and has a crispyness to it. The brocoli in brown sauce is perfect. Mom loved the egg drop soup, she's a chinese food connoisseur and she said it was the best she's ever had. Thank you!“

“I tried many different Chinese take-out restaurants in the area when I moved here 2 years ago. I was really disappointed by the quality until I ordered from New Kings. I'm surprised they don't have a higher rating. The food is consistently good. I just wish they had a few more things on their menu like duck and wontons with shrimp.“

“I've been eating their food for about a year and some change now and they can usually guess what I want to eat . I like their sesame chicken and they package their foods really well with containers that don't spill and sort of snap shut. Due to the pandemic I've been sitting in my car after ordering and they usually bring out my food or signal me so I'm not waiting forever. The 2 girls that usually do the orders are pretty nice and polite .“

“Top notch sushi, the best prices I have seen for the quality. I’ve been ordering from Kira Sushi since about 2021, their quality has been consistent and their menu prices haven’t raised drastically like everything else does.“

“It’s really hard to find a decent Chinese takeout. For some reason, take-out Chinese food is not as good as it was 20 years ago. I find a lot of Chinese food inedible. That said, Red Apple is a good find. I recently ordered the wonton soup, egg roll, shrimp roll. I also ordered the honey chicken with fried rice and vegetable Lo Mein. My husband & I really enjoyed the food. It was tasty & flavorful. So if you’re in the mood for good Chinese food, definitely give this place a try.“

“Wild rice is one of those local Chinese restaurants where everybody in the neighborhood loves it and they think it's the best Chinese food in the world in reality it's your standard American Chinese food a little bit above average I would say. In that area there really aren't any better places“

“Great little place thats hard to find in Stiny Brook across from the train station. It's in between the Asian market and The Bench. My favs on the menu are the beef noodle soup and the mango fried rice. The pork lo mein had sliced pork in it...not cubes or strips. During the semester, you'll find lots of college students eating here. Def recommended.“

“My family has been ordering from Ho Ming for many years and I can’t believe it took me this long to write something. Of the many chinese take-out spots I’ve tried in the area, Ho Ming has always had the most consistently best tasting food. My favorites are the chicken & broccoli and the roast pork lo mein, which I order almost every week. The family that runs and also works at this restaurant are such lovely, kind people and for that I’m always glad to support their business“

“This is amazing! This is now my new primary Chinese spot. The people are very nice and friendly. Most up the time I do take out and literally by the time I call and order the food is ready. Sometimes I do delivery and it’s says it will take 45 mins but it doesn’t it take like 10-20 mins. Best Chinese restaurant ever ?“

“Best Chinese Food! I’ve been coming back and have tried many other places from Port Jeff-Patchogue. This one is by far my favorite. They are family run & They listen to your requests. They don’t skimp you on sauce or food. Their boneless spareribs are AMAZING. Chicken and Broccoli, has EDIBLE chicken that won’t gross you out. Their sesame chicken delicious and it’s not orange:). Soup broth is yummy and flavorful ! And their egg rolls aren’t filled with random , uncooked veggies. Everything is cooked thoroughly and great! Also they offer 5% off for cash payments which always feels good. I moved out of Selden but I still come back to grab some of this food! #YUM“

“I moved to this area almost 5 years ago and was always on the hunt for decent Chinese food. I don't know what took so long to try Wing wah out but glad I did. The flavor of the general tsos chicken is really good and they let me substitute more broccoli in the combo instead of receiving the egg roll. The wonton soup is really good too. A lot of places make it too salty but theirs is very good . My husband enjoys the dishes he gets too. We will be sticking to wing wah for Chinese takeout nights“
“This restaurant is excellent! The interior design is beautiful and the food is made quickly. I ordered egg drop soup and fried dumplings. The egg drop soup had perfect consistency. The staff is very friendly as well. I will definitely come back in the future.“

“I moved to this area about 11 yrs ago, its been very hard to find your basic staples go to like Pizza, Bagels and Chinese. Ive been using 2 other local Chinese food places for the last 11 yrs. Good, but was never something I would write a review about. My only complaint is that I did not try this place sooner! By far, the best in this area. Everything you hear in the reviews is correct. The shrimp toast is fantastic and their boneless spare ribs were delicious and very tender. I was very pleasantly surprised about how good it was. I had it delivered and it came faster than the ETA provided. This is be my new go to place from this point on.“

“I never dined in, but take out and delivery has been a good experience. The food quality is definitely a cut above the average Chinese restaurant in the area. I would recommend the traditional chicken or shrimp with broccoli or the rock salt pepper dishes. Sometimes, the cooking can be inconsistent but never bad.“

“I come from an old school Cantonese family who owned several very successful restaurant businesses. I decided to try this place because of the good ratings. I was very satisfied because of the quality of food and taste! The sit down area is a couple of basic tables but worth the trip!

“I grew up going there. I always liked it. I would get the chicken and broccoli with white sauce, white rice. I would get wonton soup and shrimp roll. It's been there over 30 years. I don't know if it's new owners, have not ate there in awhile. I think it's been a few years. I have to back and try again. It's a take place, but they have a few tables. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“

“Sichuan style restaurant located on 25A near Stony Brook University, at the same address as Xiao Si Chuan.
Food: We ordered sauteed pig intestine w. Garlic 干煸肥肠 and sauteed pork in authentic Chengdu style 酱爆五花肉. The dish is a bit salty for my taste, though my friend finds the seasoning just right. Another friend recommended the drunk beef, which is quite spicy.
Service: The waiter was friendly and asked about our dining experience. When we noted that tomato egg is a common dish but not exist in the menu, he mentioned we could still request it even though it wasn't listed.
Parking: Free parking lot, more space available towards back.“
