“I am Héctor Caballero and I was a worker at this place and I have good memories of all my coworkers, of my namesake, of Don Fran, of Yon de apuy, of taché, of chyan sufu, of Mr. Max and above all of my boss and friend Mr. Deivi greetings and I hope you are all well, thank “
“Great local Chinese restaurant with large portions and great prices, especially lunch specials. The owners and staff are very friendly, and service is quick, even if you decide to order at the place and take out. Love their brown and garlic sauce, which I compare regularly amongst local Chinese places. Food is always hot and the place is very clean, though I do wish that they had some sit down tables. Will continue to visit.Vegetarian options: PlentyDietary restrictions: OptionsParking: Free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: First floor with ramp access.“
“Kira Sushi is a gem! The yellowtail jalapeño is an absolute must-try, bursting with flavor and freshness. And what's a visit to Kira without indulging in a sake bomb? It's practically a rite of passage! With impeccable service and an inviting ambiance, Kira Sushi earns a well-deserved recommendation. A culinary experience not to be missed!“
“It’s hard to find a consistent Chinese food restaurant. New Century has been a go-to for my family and I for years. The food is always good, the staff is really friendly and the restaurant is clean. We have catered food and had smaller lunch specials. The food is always good. We love their wonton soup and pork fried rice.“
“This restaurant serves delicious lo mein noodles. We also tried chicken dry pot style which was good but not much to our liking. Szechuan beef was a little too vinegary for me. I noticed people ordering orange chicken with broccoli and it looked delicious. I wish we ordered it instead.“
“delicious food i would highly recommend and will definitely come back.Every dish we tried was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, showcasing the chef's impeccable skill and dedication to authenticity. From the delicate dumplings to the fiery Szechuan specialties, each bite transported us to the bustling streets of Beijing or the tranquil tea gardens of Hangzhou. The attention to detail extends beyond the cuisine to the presentation, with each dish artfully arranged to please both the eyes and the palate.“
“I have ordered from MoGu, personally and wanted to share the cuisine with my work familySpeaking with John LaRosa made catering for 20 SBUH Cardiology Fellows dinner such an easy process. John walked me though the catering menu, offerings and together, we decided on several options. The next day the Fellows and Chief of Cardiology could not stop raving about the quality of the food I shared the background story of the origins of MoGu with them and they were impressed to say the least. No doubt MoGu will be staple within our catering options here at Stony Brook Hospital. They never disappointed with my own person meals and and they certainly lived up to any expectations on a larger scale. Thank you to Mogu for providing an excellent healthy option and outstanding service.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian diets“
“Been coming here since COVID hit and it has never disappointed once. With a fair price in comparison to other noodle places like pho, although different it's even more delicious and flavorful than other places! Staff is always friendly and food comes out fast.“
“Food is really good.Like wow amazing. When my plate got to the table in 5 minutes it disappeared like magic.I highly recommend the vegetable steam dumplings. The orange chicken OmG it was delicious. The French fries let me tell you the picture ima put up will speak for itself.Thank you so much Brian for being our waiter.“
“Food was great. We had the dan dan noodles, dumplings in chili sauce, sauteed string beans, pig feet soup, spicy popcorn chicken and chili pepper beef. Everything was delicious! The string beans were crunchy with a good amount of garlic!Authentic Chinese food and they have Chinese American food also.“
“This place is by far the best Chinese food in the area. Soup dumplings are for sure their best menu item but we also love their pork flat noodles, sesame chicken, and beef and broccoli. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious to be honest. We drive ten minutes because places closer to us do not come near to being as good!“
“Growing up in Brooklyn and having great Chinese takeout at my fingertips it hasn't always been easy to find good Chinese food out on the Island. I've tried many chinese take out places near me and Dragon is by far one of the best. From the very friendly owner, overall customer service, cleanliness and consistency of great quality food, I would highly recommend.“
“I have no idea why it has taken me so long to try this place but I went in for my sister's birthday a few weeks ago. We ordered the wood ear mushroom salad, edamame and the Shanghai soup dumplings for appetizers. The mushrooms are reason alone to go back. My entrée was the dry pot chicken which came in a wok lit by sternos underneath and full of dried peppers with a perfect amount of Sichuan peppercorns. My mouth was oscillating between the delicious burn and the tingling and numbing effects of the peppercorns. The other entrées were fantastic. Beef flat noodles with a savory sauce, a mountain of port fried rice, and a delicious pork noodle dish. For dessert, perfectly fried and sugared sweet potato cakes. My one real regret is not going to this place sooner. Our server was lovely and the owners made my sister's day special.“
“One of the best take out Chinese restaurants! Food always taste fresh. They’re very efficient when it comes down to the wait time. Never worried about having cold food cause that will not happen. Everyone provides the top notch services and this place is very accommodating. Pricing is reasonable for the portion of food you’ll get. Highly recommended. Bonus: boneless spareribs with pork fried rice is always the favorite food to get“
“Love owner Johnny make you feel like family. Food is always Amazing and a huge variety and seasonal changes to menu not other places always the same and boring. I would highly recommend and say hello to Johnny and tell him big Joe says hello.Vegetarian options: Rolls, and they will make whatever you want just ask.Parking: Never had a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly. owner Johnny gives kids a toy. My daughter loved it.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes all ground level. I have seen a few people in wheelchair there.“
“Absolutely delicious food here! The general tso’s was pure thick chunks of white meat chicken with a light coating of breading and just the right amount of spicy. My dad hates vegetables and they were sure to leave them all out as requested for shrimp and lobster sauce with pork fried rice. We even got an extra egg roll for free! This is definitely our new spot.“
“Great food, clean place but it isn't really set up to dine in, which is fine for me, but others may like the option. If you're looking for a solid place for Chinese food and don't mind taking out, this is a pretty good choice. Also, the staff is super friendly despite how busy they are.Vegetarian options: You can order both vegetable and bean curd (tofu) variations on nearly all dishes.“
“Another update, 11/16/2023Another awesome lunch from this excellent Chinese restaurant today. The people who own this restaurant have always treated us like family. The food is delicious, hot and decently priced.Just wanted to do an update 11/5/23We have been going here for while now and this Chinese restaurant is a real gem. The food is excellent always extremely hot and delicious. The people who own this restaurant have always been nice and the prices are very competitive.Went here for the first time over the weekend with my son. This place has excellent food and the prices are extremely competitive to other Chinese restaurants in the area.“
“When you order food at a NY Chinese food place , you pretty much always know what to expect. I was having a serious craving for dumplings so I figured I’d try this place, expecting the typical, doughy dumplings most places will give you. Like, they’re good, ok. Hence why I was craving dumplings. But nothing wildly special. THIS place though? I was immediately pleasantly surprised upon my first bite. The texture wasn’t very doughy, but not too thin, and the filling was delicious! Just so much better than your typical Chinese restaurant. And I mean it’s awesome when you’re craving something so specific and what you get surpasses your expectations. Best take out dumplings I’ve ever had.“
“I order crab rangoon, chicken dumplings and shrimp with black bean sauce. Everything is delicious!! Im allergic to pork. So I was so happy to see a chicken dumpling and it has great flavor. Crab rangoon taste homemade. The shrimp with black bean sauce came with nice size shrimp. Really glad to find this place!!“
“We have been ordering take out from here for years and are always satisfied. The food is consistently good and they are always friendly. They deliver quickly and the orders are always accurate. We have tried all the local places but always come back to this one.“
“I have been ordering here for a decade, I will not order from any other Chinese food place. They have the best take out Chinese Food in LI, And the delivery always comes very fast! I recommend this place to everyone when they bring up Chinese Food“
“After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to try New Jade House the other day. I ordered a lunch special - boneless ribs, fried rice, egg drop soup and egg roll. The soup was delicious and the egg roll crisp and not greasy....but could have had more flavor. The boneless ribs were small pieces of meat and very fatty and the fried rice was dry. Maybe lunchtime is the wrong time to order. Needless to say, I was disappointed.“
“One of our new favorite places for bao, buns, and hot pot! We had the frog leg hot pot and it was delicious. Also, our staples have become the lamb sandwich and the pork baos. The fried chicken (popcorn chicken) is a yummy comfort food. Staff is so kind and always willing to offer yummy recommendations. We also love sitting and eating in the restaurant - it's got such a warm and relaxing vibe.“
“Food is good and plentiful especially for the prices we're paying nowadays. Super easy and convenient to order online, a lot of Chinese restaurants don't offer this. Lunch specials are also good and reasonably priced. I generally prefer Asian fusion type places but if you're looking for traditional Americanized Chinese food this is my preferred place in the area. Side note it's really just a take out joint... don't expect a sit down meal here.“
“This is amazing! This is now my new primary Chinese spot. The people are very nice and friendly. Most up the time I do take out and literally by the time I call and order the food is ready. Sometimes I do delivery and it’s says it will take 45 mins but it doesn’t it take like 10-20 mins. Best Chinese restaurant ever ?“
“Sometimes the best places in life, are the places you least expect. I was in the area and felt the urge for Chinese. My friend said he always goes to "New Wing Shun Kitchen" and that the food is amazing. I guess that means I have to try it and yes, of course, Yelp it. It's located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. The store seems as if it's been there for a longtime, it's a bit dated. And the inside was no different. The main dining area was small. It was also a bit on the needing attention side. But I wasn't staying to eat. I ordered my food and it was prepared pretty quickly. Once I sat in my car, I wasted no time. I tried the crab ragoons first. Truth be told, they were delicious. I was surprised with the flavor. I can say they are the best I've had. Next was my combo. I tried the chicken and it was tender and not chewy like the normal place I goto by my house. This chicken was juicy and the sauce was perfect. The broccoli was the way I like it and the rice, was fluffy and worked with the meal. I normally never get rice, but my friend recommended it. My experience with this place was positive, I would definitely go back and recommend like my friend did for me. I only hope, they clean up before more people show up.“
“I tried many different Chinese take-out restaurants in the area when I moved here 2 years ago. I was really disappointed by the quality until I ordered from New Kings. I'm surprised they don't have a higher rating. The food is consistently good. I just wish they had a few more things on their menu like duck and wontons with shrimp.“
“Some of the just best food in Coram!I have been eating at this family-owned restaurant for close to 20 years (at different locations) & the family consistently makes delicious quality food.Coram is very lucky to have Ming Kong cooking for our community. Yum & thank you!:>)“
“My favorite Chinese food place to visit while we're waiting on Taekwondo to finish. The young service person up front seems to still be in training, the food is always excellent, but the interior leaves something to be desired. I think it's more of a takeout than an eat in Chinese restaurant.“
“My favorite go to place for some spicy Sichuan style food.I love the pork dumplings here. They are must try. Pork is my fav but even the vegetarian dumplings are amazingAlso the spicy noodles and fried rice here are amazing. They do also serve green tea along with the meal.Definitely recommend this place.“
“I love this place. They have the best Chinese food in my area. My favorites are there sautéed string beans, their pork fried rice & their BBQ'd ribs on or off the bone. Any of their dishes are freshly made. Take out or dine in. They have dinner specials as well. The staff is courteous and has excellent customer service. You won't be disappointed.“
“Best Chinese Food! I’ve been coming back and have tried many other places from Port Jeff-Patchogue. This one is by far my favorite. They are family run & They listen to your requests. They don’t skimp you on sauce or food. Their boneless spareribs are AMAZING. Chicken and Broccoli, has EDIBLE chicken that won’t gross you out. Their sesame chicken delicious and it’s not orange:). Soup broth is yummy and flavorful ! And their egg rolls aren’t filled with random , uncooked veggies. Everything is cooked thoroughly and great! Also they offer 5% off for cash payments which always feels good. I moved out of Selden but I still come back to grab some of this food! #YUM“
“It's literally the best Chinese food takeout for miles. Always freshest ingredients, cooked to perfection, on time both pick up and when delivered. I go miles out of my way to get my food here and have had many events catered by them. Bravo!!!“
“Great little place thats hard to find in Stiny Brook across from the train station. It's in between the Asian market and The Bench. My favs on the menu are the beef noodle soup and the mango fried rice. The pork lo mein had sliced pork in it...not cubes or strips. During the semester, you'll find lots of college students eating here. Def recommended.“
“It’s really hard to find a decent Chinese takeout. For some reason, take-out Chinese food is not as good as it was 20 years ago. I find a lot of Chinese food inedible. That said, Red Apple is a good find. I recently ordered the wonton soup, egg roll, shrimp roll. I also ordered the honey chicken with fried rice and vegetable Lo Mein. My husband & I really enjoyed the food. It was tasty & flavorful. So if you’re in the mood for good Chinese food, definitely give this place a try.“
“Raised prices 3.50 per meal combination meal and made portions smaller food is good though looking for a different go to Chinese restaurant I think I’m done with Win Hing also the woman behind the counter has the personality of a dead snake!!!!!“
“We use to go to wild rice but wow never will I go back .it was night and day fresh food and quality. Tried it once and I'm sold. Its not just dumplings it is everything you find in a chinese rest. And it is the best Chinese rest around .Parking: Na“
“Food was amazing but the service is definitely lacking. Second time around we didn’t even stay and went somewhere else. Rang the bell 3 times, waited in the hot restaurant for 15 min and didn’t even get to order considering the cook was the only one there and pretty much ignored us. Quit being cheap, hire a driver and keep someone in the front to tend to customers. Just lost an easy 100 bucks, not smart business move.“
“I grew up nearby. Have been eating here for over 20 years. Maybe it's nostalgia, but this is my favorite place to get Chinese on all of Long Island. Food has always been delicious, and large portions. I've been to others around NY. Whenever I'm back in town, I make it a point to come here, and bring out of towners here. From Lotus East (the previous name) to now.... I love this place!“
“This restaurant is excellent! The interior design is beautiful and the food is made quickly. I ordered egg drop soup and fried dumplings. The egg drop soup had perfect consistency. The staff is very friendly as well. I will definitely come back in the future.“
“Only one visit so far so I will adjust if need be. Fried rice was top tier for the area. So was the sesame chicken and the lo mein. The wonton soup was pretty standard but the wonton meat was really good. I think it was ginger in there that made them stand out. My only complaint was the large boneless spareribs at 18$ were very fatty. Could have been the batch so I won’t hold that against them unless it happens again.“
“Excellent food. Fresh tasting and delicious. Food is prepared with respect for the ingredients, not just slapped together with a lot of haste and cheap fillers.Dietary restrictions: Excellent quality vegetables, not overcooked and flavorless.“
“I've been going to Wing Wah for many years. It has changed a bit since covid like most things. Specifically I ordered chicken lo mein. The price doubled for a pint. They did give a lot of chicken though. The mushroom egg foo young is excellent as is the fried rice. The hot and sour soup is very good as well.“
“I got delivery from here through Uber Eats. The chicken and broccoli was just ok, but the appetizers (cream cheese wontons, wonton soup and chicken wings), were all pretty good. There's not many good Chinese places near me but this one was decent. Good price too with the uber coupon.“
“I have tried many Chinese restaurants in Miller Place and nearby. They are the best! Food is excellent and waiting time is average. Clean location. The family who runs the location is wonderful, loving, caring, very kind and professional. They are closed Monday for now. I can’t find any restaurant like them. They also have dietary menu and they make that very well too! I highly recommend!“
“Always fantastic. Been going here my whole life. Seeing a good amount of reviews that are probably supposed to be for Crystal Garden considering this place isn't a buffet and reviews saying "Chinese buffet..." Staff is super friendly and food is pretty consistent.“
“I was visiting a family member in Smithtown and we decided to order Chinese food. This was the first time I ordered from King Chef. I ordered steamed vegetables with tofu and brown rice. The food was very fresh and tasted good. They were friendly and their prices are the best in the area. I would highly recommend ordering from here.“
“The only Chinese restaurant I ever order from in the area! They are the best and always have everything ready when they say they will. My favorite is the egg fried rice and cheese wontons. They will allow you to substitute out white meat chicken for a small upcharge, and all the takeout boxes are always stuffed full.“
“Hands down best Chinese food around, well I might have a bias because I am a 2nd generation customer, my Dad and myself have been going there since kids. Food was exceptionally great last Friday the chicken and broccoli was phenomenal.Parking: Pretty big lot nestled in-between Kohls and Five below.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
