“Oriental Kitchen is our family’s new favorite Chinese in Suffolk. We recently moved to the area and have been trying to find a decent New York style Chinese spot and last night we found one. Yay! The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered classics like beef broccoli, general tsos, veg dumplings, wonton soup and chicken wings. Wow!! I agree with the other reviews, you can taste the love they put it into the food. Vivian, the young lady at the counter was so warm and friendly. Please please keep the freshness and quality consistent as we will be ordering at least once a week moving forward. Go to Oriental Kitchen. You work regret it.“

“I have been eating their food, either sit down or take out, ever since I moved out to ronkonkoma from massapequa 14 years ago. And I have to admit, i got so lucky. Finding them. “I like shredded Beef with garlic sauce! I'm a lover of Chinese take out. I live in Florida, it's not like pizza, you can't get good pizza in Florida. You can get decent Chinese takeout! So to be long winded I'll get to the point. KING'S CHEF as a local take out meet all the points! My sister in law is in St Catherine's Hospital and you know how Hospital food tastes. Well I brought her the Eggroll and she couldn't say enough about it, along with the fact that she devoured it and said it was delicious! When I called the store, the lady on the phone was incredibly kind and offered to drive the missing food over herself, even though it was not her fault. “Empire Ginger, is known for having the best dumplings on The Island, and they definitely do, but don't sleep on the rest of their menu, incredible soups, chef specialties dishes, etc.

“I often order a steamed chicken n broccoli meal with (chicken) fried rice which comes with a pint of (chicken noodle or wonton) soup. They also grow their own string beans at home n offer them to change up my meal now n then. Nice folks.
I've been getting take out for about 5 years now; they'll ask if I want my usual when I call. 10 minutes later, I'll have a fresh hot meal with soup n fortune cookies for $12 again. Cash only.“

This time we ordered lunch for the entire office, including chicken wings, boneless BBQ spare ribs, shredded pork with garlic sauce, and chicken with broccoli, along with several large bottles of soda. Overall, the food delivered exactly what you’d expect from classic Chinese takeout — familiar flavors, generous portions, and dishes that work well for group orders.

The chicken wings and boneless BBQ spare ribs were popular and well received, and the chicken with broccoli was solid and consistent. The shredded pork with garlic sauce, however, wasn’t as strong as the other dishes and felt a bit underwhelming compared to similar versions elsewhere.

That said, for office lunches and large group orders, Cheung’s Garden has been a dependable go-to for many years, and we’ll likely continue ordering from them.“
