“Oriental Kitchen is our family’s new favorite Chinese in Suffolk. We recently moved to the area and have been trying to find a decent New York style Chinese spot and last night we found one. Yay! The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered classics like beef broccoli, general tsos, veg dumplings, wonton soup and chicken wings. Wow!! I agree with the other reviews, you can taste the love they put it into the food. Vivian, the young lady at the counter was so warm and friendly. Please please keep the freshness and quality consistent as we will be ordering at least once a week moving forward. Go to Oriental Kitchen. You work regret it.“

“I have been eating their food, either sit down or take out, ever since I moved out to ronkonkoma from massapequa 14 years ago. And I have to admit, i got so lucky. Finding them. Their food is fantastic, and I have been eating Japanese for 26 years, i would know by now what is good.. They are the best ive ever had. And they are great people. 👍“

“I like shredded Beef with garlic sauce! I'm a lover of Chinese take out. I live in Florida, it's not like pizza, you can't get good pizza in Florida. You can get decent Chinese takeout! So to be long winded I'll get to the point. KING'S CHEF as a local take out meet all the points! My sister in law is in St Catherine's Hospital and you know how Hospital food tastes. Well I brought her the Eggroll and she couldn't say enough about it, along with the fact that she devoured it and said it was delicious! When I called the store, the lady on the phone was incredibly kind and offered to drive the missing food over herself, even though it was not her fault. The food was great and I’ll continue to always order from here simply because of how well she handled the situation. Highly recommend!“

“Empire Ginger, is known for having the best dumplings on The Island, and they definitely do, but don't sleep on the rest of their menu, incredible soups, chef specialties dishes, etc.

“I came here for lunch and ordered the sesame chicken with a side of white rice along with the spring rolls The sesame chicken was delicious and the rice paired with it perfect The spring rolls were a bit over-fried which gave them a slightly bitter taste but they were still decent. “I recently had such a great dining experience at Splendid Noodle in Stony Brook, New York!

I ordered the roasted duck with hand-cut noodles and extra vegetables, including fresh bok choy, and it was truly an authentic experience from start to finish. One of the coolest parts was being able to watch the chefs through the kitchen as they prepared the noodles—either hand-pulling them or cutting them with a knife right before serving.

The broth was flavorful and incredibly savory without being overpowering or overly salty. On the table, they had homemade chili oil with chili flakes, which was a huge plus for me because I personally love some spice. I added about two spoonfuls, and it gave the dish exactly the kick I was looking for!

The restaurant has that true hole-in-the-wall feel, but don’t let that fool you—this was an amazing meal. I couldn’t even finish the entire bowl, so I ended up taking the rest home and having it as a second meal for dinner later that evening. It still tasted great reheated!

I also have to give them credit for their takeout packaging. I noticed that they pack the noodles separately from the broth, which is such a smart touch. If you’re getting your food delivered or taking it home, the noodles don’t arrive completely saturated and soggy.

The dining area is small, with enough seating for around 8 - 10 families of four, but the establishment was very clean and had charming, authentic details, including the traditional curtains in front of the kitchen entrance.

Overall, I would definitely recommend checking out Splendid Noodle if you’re in the area. Authentic flavors, freshly made noodles, great portions, and thoughtful takeout packaging—it was a fantastic experience!“

“A friend recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it a try. It’s a small takeout spot and a little easy to miss from the road, but the Szechuan food is really authentic and tasty.

I ordered the mapo tofu and dan dan noodles, and both were excellent. The mapo tofu was flavorful and spicy with that nice numbing kick from the Szechuan peppercorns, and the tofu was really soft and soaked up the sauce well. The dan dan noodles were also really good—chewy, spicy, and full of flavor.

I ordered online for pickup and everything was ready right on time. I was able to park along the road, grab my food, and leave pretty quickly. Super convenient and definitely worth trying if you like authentic Szechuan food.“

“Hands down the BEST chinese/szechuan restaurant in Long Island. I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

- Cabbage
- Sweet and sour fried crispy pork
- Hunan beef with green peppers
