The food here is fantastic! Any of the bad reviews are from years past...I work in the area and a few years ago I would have said the food was o.k. - in fact, I rarely ordered from there anymore, but just recently, I decided to give in another shot and WOW it was AMAZING! This is my favorite Chinese food in the area. Having been used to the plethora of amazing Chinese food in Brooklyn, finding this place was so great! I love their lo mein, fried scallops and their general Tso. The only annoying thing is they're pretty pricey. An order of lo mein is $19, which to me, is absolutely insane. They also charge extra if I want to swap the pork fried rice that comes with a combo to a shrimp fried rice because I don't eat pork. Still, I recommend it if...read full review

It’s really hard to find a decent Chinese takeout. For some reason, take-out Chinese food is not as good as it was 20 years ago. I find a lot of Chinese food inedible.That said, Red Apple is a good find. I recently ordered the wonton soup, egg roll, shrimp roll.
