I've been getting take out for about 5 years now; they'll ask if I want my usual when I call. 10 minutes later, I'll have a fresh hot meal with soup n fortune cookies for $12 again. Cash only.“

“I love this place and the fact that they deliver. There is one other place we love but they don't deliver and now that I tried Yhum Yhum,. honestly, there's no turning back. We ordered for the first time like 2 weeks ago and since our kitchen is being remodeled and we cant use it have ordered like 3 times already lol. I always saw this place when my mom used to get hair cuts over there but never went and tried it- happy we decided to order and check it out. My son asks for the sesame chicken and lomein all the time, and they have really great brown sauce also. Also the very closest things i found found to old school friend rice in a very long time. The flavor profile was very odd to me but others may like it.“

I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

“Clean establishment, culturally professional, and the food, in my opinion, is the best that I have had in the Lindenhurst area, which I will admit to had only tried 4 others. I am from the Bx & Bklyn & the food I feel will never match. We had the general tos chicken & their fried rice was on point. The rice was not dry but was perfectly fluffy. The chicken wings were also perfect, as they had enough flavor & tiny, as chicken wings should be. Overall, I give an 8 out of 10 for my experience. Also, I do not think the workers are rude. The warm bread with honey butter is the next event to fill your stomach before the actual meal starts. Chili is a great appetizer. I think most of the side dishes are fine. Steaks are good but whatever you do, stay away from any sirloin. Even prepared at medium, it tastes and chews like shoe leather and not the rich Corinthian leather kind. I've been there numerous times, but I guess the visits are spread out enough that I forget to avoid the sirloin. My default cheap nature guides me to sirloin and I regret it after the first bite. Ribeye, NY strip and anything else is fine. I'm not sure I know what their “road kill” cut is or how it tastes.“

They use chunks of ribs rather than the thin stripes many other places do. Dumpling were great!...recommend 100%“
