Food quality is top notch. Service is prompt and courteous. And the ambiance is great, because there are a lot of soft surfaces to absorb sound allowing for dinner conversation without the typical noise of a restaurant.
Classic, reminds me of my younger years on Long Island. Nicely tasty and straightforward. Very accommodative of special dietary needs - no soy sauce for me, no sesame oil for another in our party. I had the cabbage and pork soup - for two and ate it all with gusto! I grew up nearby. Have been eating here for over 20 years. Maybe it's nostalgia, but this is my favorite place to get Chinese on all of Long Island. Food has always been delicious, and large portions. I've been to others around NY. Whenever I'm back in town, I make it a point to come here, and bring out of towners here. From Lotus East (the previous name) to now.... I love this place!
