“We had an amazing experience dining at Iberico Tapas y Vino last night! After dealing with a reservation blunder made by a very well known, reputable restaurant, who's solution for their mistake was trying to seat our party - each person traveling nearly an hour away to celebrate a 50th birthday - at a cramped table pretty much in front of the restaurant's main door where the weather outside was less than 20 degrees accompanied by a blistering wind-chill, we called a restaurant located a few doors down to try and save this special occasion night. To our surprise, the owner picked up, and although his restaurant was booked as well for the night, he said to come over and he would make it work and accommodate us. When we entered the establishment, we were immediately greeted by the owner, who was a warm, friendly gentleman. He seated us at a very comfortable table, then went out of his way to provide us with an excellent dinning experience. The staff were all extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and the food itself was nothing short of terrific! Authentic dishes prepared with love and a deep understanding of the culture which inspired it. Great food, great people, great atmosphere, great customer service, and just a warm and kind, down to earth owner. For those reasons, I highly recommend this restaurant!!!”

“Last night we had a delectable dinner at Basil. The chilien sea bass jumped from the sea in my plate. The seasoning was perfect. The rice was cooked to perfection. The cuisine is light and tasty. My husband had the beef skewers which he enjoyed and he is very difficult to please. Desert got a high mark with the baklava and the chocolate bread pudding which you should not miss. The service was perfect. The ambiance was noisy and bubbly. We will definitely return to Basil for its excellent table.”

“Darren and Co are amazing owners. My wife and I order from St. James Pizza often. I will say as a pizza maker for 15 years, it’s appreciated when the pizza is A. cooked, B. crisp, C. Not sloppy. These guys cook a great pizza for delivery and in house. Highly recommend!”

“Food was good. Forgot two sides. Service was great. Very small inside. Quaint and cute though. They gave us a free side to make up for the mishap. Overall really good, would definitely go back, and it is worth the wait.”

“The service was excellent. Appetizers were very good . The main course was alittle disappointing. As we were with a large group and several of the chicken dishes were with dry and chewy chicken. So other then that it was good.”

“I've never been to a restaurant like mosaic before. Very nice experience. The service was impeccable, never been to a five course tasting before. The food was unbelievable , the chef was the best. The atmosphere was ok, not matching the 5 star experience in the other categories. Overall a very nice evening.Dietary restrictions: Very unique. They call and ask if there is any restrictions.”

“Had never been here but an opportunity came up as we wanted to celebrate my pop's birthday. He loves a good steak and I had heard that this place was outstanding. The reports don't dissappoint. The service was excellent and the steaks were amazing. I loved that it was not too loud and clubby- very elegant but not fussy. Seared perfectly and cooked exactly to order. One person did not want steak and got the Chicken Parm- what a pleasant surprise he said it was one of the best he had ever had- Who would have thought that possible at a Steak House. The sides were ample and excellent for sharing- we got the mushrooms and onions and the brussel sprouts. The waiter was so thoughtful and brought out a dessert with a candle for my pop to celebreate his special day. That was super nice. I think this is my new favorite Steak House on Long Island...”

“This is a woman owned business and she supports other local women owned businesses. The large, but cozy room in the back of the restaurant makes it a great place to have events. Thanks to the chef, who cooked 3 different types of pasta. In addition, the buffet style food was delicious. The waitresses were attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. The pictures were worth the visit.Parking: Large free parking lot is available in the back of the restaurant”
