“Finally went to this place. It was so good. The dumplings and buns were very tasty and not dry. The wonton soup was delicious. We both got chicken dishes and they were also very good. We got a free chicken kebab appetizer that was amazing. The staff were very friendly as well and even offered free ice cream but we were too full. I will definitely go back for the all you can eat bbq.”

“Last night we (2 couples) went to Ruth Chris Steak House in Lake Grove, NY for dinner and had the best dinning experience we have had in awhile. It is now our favorite steak restaurant. The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. Without a doubt, this is the best steak restaurant on the Island, we have been to most of the upscale restaurants here and we rate this the best. If you want terrific food, great service, and a delightful ambiance, try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!!!”

“Came here with some friends for Wing Night and we all had a great experience. The atmosphere is classy but casual, with a really nice layout and comfortable feel.

Our server was warm, attentive, and responsive, and everyone on the staff we interacted with was friendly and professional. The wings were excellent—we sampled a bunch of different sauces and honestly enjoyed every one of them.

There was also a young woman singing and playing acoustic guitar onstage who was fantastic. The volume was perfect: loud enough to enjoy the music, but not so loud that we couldn’t comfortably talk at the table.

“Been here a few times and it never disappoints. My kids love the Ocean Breeze. I personally prefer the Strawberry Matcha. It is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the mall to swing by and try their bubble tea.”

“I’ve heard people say that most Chinese restaurants are so similar that it really doesn’t matter where you order from. That could not be further from the truth, and Wild Rice is proof.

In fact, if you’re dieting, my best advice might be to stay away from this place entirely. Every time I go a while without having Wild Rice, I order it once and immediately want it again the next day and every other day that follows. It is ridiculously good, incredibly flavorful, and honestly a little too addicting. I even order it when I’m feeling under the weather. Maybe it’s all the flavor and the fresh, authentic Eastern vegetables they use, but somehow I always feel better within an hour of devouring it.

Even their Thai dishes are fantastic. They may be prepared differently from what you would get at a traditional Thai restaurant, but somehow you end up loving Wild Rice’s version just as much. Everything I’ve tried has its own flavor and never tastes like the generic Chinese takeout you can get anywhere.

Another thing that really stands out is the staff. Everyone is consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seems happy to see you. That makes such a difference, especially when you become a regular because the food keeps pulling you back.

Finally, something I really appreciate is that you can see directly into the kitchen from the counter. The restaurant and kitchen are always extremely clean, which only adds to the experience.

So no, all Chinese food is definitely not the same. Wild Rice has actually created a different problem: once you get used to their food, you don’t want Chinese food from anywhere else.”

“We come here regularly for date night. The food is always good and I appreciate the variety of foods on the conveyors. The drinks come on a cute robot table that plays music. The events are always worth coming in for. I recently enjoyed the Persona anniversary event. The conveyor belt made a sound from the video game to announce when food we ordered arrived. Very cute! We recommend the vegetable rolls with soy paper and the spicy salmon rolls. I do miss the old recipe of the salmon golden crunchy roll though”

“I went around 9-9:30am this morning (3/1/25) and the young man who was working the coffee bar was incredibly friendly, upbeat, respectful, and helpful! The coffee was actually delicious and the prices were surprisingly great. Plus alternative milks like oat & almond were free with no extra up charge! It was my first time trying their coffee despite shopping here many times but I really enjoyed it. Even though I am making more of an effort to make coffee at home and not buy coffee drinks outside, I will def come back and make an exception for the coffee here, especially if the same guy is working there. Even though he was busy with orders, he seemed to be the only employee in the store who actually cared about his job and made an active effort to be nice to customers.”
