“I have to admit, I DO NOT eat sushi at all. I brought my wife because she loves sushi and it was her birthday. I did my research and all the reviews were very positive. I decided to indulge even though I thought I wouldn’t like the meal. Much to my surprise I loved the meal and my wife was in all her glory. Watching the chefs prepare each course with the precision and attention to detail was great. These chefs really take pride in their craft. 10 out of 10!! Must try again!!!”

“I recently had such a great dining experience at Splendid Noodle in Stony Brook, New York!

I ordered the roasted duck with hand-cut noodles and extra vegetables, including fresh bok choy, and it was truly an authentic experience from start to finish. One of the coolest parts was being able to watch the chefs through the kitchen as they prepared the noodles—either hand-pulling them or cutting them with a knife right before serving.

The broth was flavorful and incredibly savory without being overpowering or overly salty. On the table, they had homemade chili oil with chili flakes, which was a huge plus for me because I personally love some spice. I added about two spoonfuls, and it gave the dish exactly the kick I was looking for!

The restaurant has that true hole-in-the-wall feel, but don’t let that fool you—this was an amazing meal. I couldn’t even finish the entire bowl, so I ended up taking the rest home and having it as a second meal for dinner later that evening. It still tasted great reheated!

I also have to give them credit for their takeout packaging. I noticed that they pack the noodles separately from the broth, which is such a smart touch. If you’re getting your food delivered or taking it home, the noodles don’t arrive completely saturated and soggy.

The dining area is small, with enough seating for around 8 - 10 families of four, but the establishment was very clean and had charming, authentic details, including the traditional curtains in front of the kitchen entrance.

Overall, I would definitely recommend checking out Splendid Noodle if you’re in the area. Authentic flavors, freshly made noodles, great portions, and thoughtful takeout packaging—it was a fantastic experience!”

“I was looking for a new place to order some Chinese food for lunch. I came across Taichi yesterday. It is now my New go to spot . The Resturant was clean, the food was cheaper and tasted much better than the other place I would get food from. The food was prepared quickly and the counter girl was very pleasant.They had napkins, plastic forks and spoons, side sauces ,and fortune cookies on the counter for you to help yourself. Unlike some of the Chinese Resturants I visited in the past where they didn't give you any plastic ware to eat with, or one fortune cookie when you ordered three combination meals, or something else. You get the idea. Another big thing is their menus and prices matched what you were charged, not like the former place I went to where the menu read one price and they charged you a higher price and when you questioned them about it were told that they didn't have enough time to have new menus printed it up yet. Taichi also serves up bubble tea, poke bowls, and ramen noodles. This place is like a dream come true. I will frequent and visit many more times placing orders. I highly recommend it. On a scale of 1 thru 10, I give it a 10.”

Let me tell you, they do it right. The eggplant is hot . The eggplant is covered, COVERED with sauce! The cheese is melted! The flavors hit right. There are no dry bites of eggplant. I have seen the most laziest and poorest assembling at some places and pass as EPH but here. Just saying.”

“DYKON is truly wonderful!!! Their food is so fresh and delicious. Their drinks are so good! You do not to have to go anywhere else for authentic Vietnamese meals. And the prices of their drinks and food items are so reasonable.

The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the owners and staff are absolutely the best! My family and I are long time customers and I tell everyone to give them a try. I do not have to go to Queens or the city to get the real deal!

“horrible experience. went before we saw vic dibitetto at staller center and they offered us 20% off our bill because of the show. made a reservation online and we were seatly pretty quickly but it pretty much went downhill from there. they had one waitress and she was overwhelmed. food took an hour and was cold by the time we got it. lesson learned and we wont be going again.”

“They renovated this place since 2023/2024 school year! Very clean, food is tasty and healthy with wide variety. My favorite is the fruit area. Usually they have bananas, apples, cantaloupes, pineapple, greek yogurt. I love West Dining’s pizza too it’s so good. I like the new herbs as well and the herb water is refreshing. I like the bagel area and toast place too my favorite is the whole wheat bagel that I toast and cut bananas on. There is also coffee and green tea and in the morning I used to always get an omelet with mushrooms and spinach that they make. Fr best dining hall. Workers are super kind as well.”
