Very laid back atmosphere.... Was absolutely perfect for Valentine's Day.... You could have a conversation without having to compete with your dining neighbors....staff was very friendly and helpful.... The meal was delicious and the presentation was outstanding.... Kudos to all and thank you
Celebrated our anniversary last night with a table next to the fireplace in the Tavern area. Nice and quiet, outstanding food, slow service. I found my fish and chips to be very fresh, but too many chips. My wife will remember the butter board appetizer for its uniqueness and flavor. We both enjoyed a nice dessert, I found my Tres Leche to be top notch in flavor and appearance.

The appetizer and main entree and desserts were all outstanding! We got the oxtail and duck entrees and it was by far the best meal we've had in months, everything was cooked perfectly and the presentation was gorgeous as well. The cocktails were amazing too, highly recommend the Blackberry Gin and Jam. Our server was absolutely wonderful, I wish I remembered her name but she has red hair and is so personable and kind! By far our favorite restaurant in Stony Brook.
