“First time here... I was in the mood for pizza and husband wanted a meal for a late lunch.
Place is clean and fresh, seated right away. Ordered martini's and they were nice and cold filled to the top.
I ordered off the menu, a thin crust Margareta person pizza and he got Pasta Bolgnese, super delicious, fresh basil. They serve a little bread basket with fresh oil, herbs and olives, and also fruit infused water which was great in a hot day.
The staff is excellent and attentive and the atmosphere was cozy.
New Italian place for us, which is a lot being an Italian. Looking forward try more meals here.“

“Just visited Osteria Umbra yesterday evening for the 2nd time. This place has quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant on Long Island. The quality of the food is extraordinary, and the service/wait staff is second-to-none. Both times I visited, everyone in my group had a truly exceptional evening. From the moment you walk in the front door through the completion of dessert, this place provides first class service. The Black Truffle Taglierini in the Parmesan cheese wheel is a must try and delightful experience. The Australian Wagyu Tomahawk was absolutely delicious and well worth the order. The Italian Cheesecake is homemade, and is the best I have ever had. If you have the opportunity, make a visit and give this place a try. You won't regret it!“

“We catered for 100 people from Branchanelli’s earlier this month. All of the food was delicious. It was fresh and hot when we picked it up. The tray of calamari was crispy and you can tell it was just cooked. Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed their dinner.“

“The interior had been updated since I was last on the Island, I always meet friends here. I prefer the more traditional atmosphere it previously had. The rib eye was tough this time, the potato salad superb, but overall very disappointed. The music was loud and was some radio station that a teenager

Try their Malbec and flourless chocolate cake which is naturally gluten-free—in fact, their brunches have almost all gluten-free options. The coffee is smooth and just wonderful. Our waiter William who is ElSalvadorian and Italian was excellent. He speaks Spanish Italian and English and it was a pleasure to speak with him. We would recommend this restaurant. It has delicious food large portions and excellent service.“

“Pizza and calzones are always burnt, effecting the taste. Even when you ask the staff to cook it lightly, they still burn them. Calzones have way too much mozzarella cheese, and not enough ricotta cheese. Burnt is the norm here. Staff are friendly.“

The grilled chicken in the Greek salad was very moist and soft. Loved their 6 slice pizza too-great cheese and perfect amount of sauce that’s way less acidic than other local pizza, maybe partially because they use less sauce. Staff were very kind too.
