Steve makes the finest dishes packed with savory goodness. Love the bread and toppings. Their Pesto pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage is amazing and one of my favorites. “My wife and I attended a wine tasting dinner event at Villa Sorrento and I have to say it was absolutely superb. The owner Sal and his wife were present and oversaw the entire event. Made us feel very welcome. The wine choices were spectacular and the dinner was just as spectacular. Great waiter staff, great chef and atmosphere. Highly recommend this family operated restaurant. “I recently hosted my bridal shower at Villa Olivetti, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was exceptional; all my guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. An added bonus was the complimentary ice cream they provided when we brought our own cake, which was a lovely touch.

The staff at Villa Olivetti were incredibly attentive. They made sure everyone had drinks and were comfortable throughout the event. They were also very accommodating to guests with specific food preferences or allergies, ensuring everyone had a great time.

Overall, Villa Olivetti made my bridal shower a memorable and enjoyable event. I highly recommend them for any special occasion.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“This is my new favorite spot for Italian!! As a local from KP we had not been back since this was Sal's, but clearly we waited too long.. Saturday night, got seated in 5 min, great service.. Owner checked in, and opened and poured the wine. Food was spot on, and did not wait long. Chicken Valdostana, fantastic, definitely recommend. Ambiance was cozy, not loud and décor had me wanting to book a trip to Tuscany. No time for dessert, but next time I'm ordering a Sambuca. “We have been coming for years and never had a bad meal. We love this place and is a staple when we go out or to bring in. It's a hidden gem. I hope nothing happens to it when they put in the apartment building close to train tracks. Service as always is excellent and personal. Benny and his brother Victor always treat us as family. Congratulations Matt you have a great restaurant.“

“We, thankfully, had a reservation on a Saturday night. We had a spacious table for 4. Brittany was our waitress. She was wonderful. She introduced herself, took our drink orders, gave us time to look over the menu, told us about the specials, was attentive to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The appetizers she suggested were delicious. The courses were nicely spaced apart. Each course was cleared from the table before the next course was served. We never felt rushed. The food was excellent. Atmosphere was quiet to enjoy a conversation. We will certainly be returning.

“Happened upon this restaurant while visiting Port Jefferson. And glad we did. Got here early enough that we could get a table right away. Steve took great care of us without being overbearing. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms, which were so freaking good. For main course my husband got the Chicken & Sausage Scarpiello, and I had the Veal Scallopini - both were delicious. We finished off sharing the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake. This exceeded my expectations. Everything was so good that my husband wants to go back tomorrow!“

The meatballs are not as good as my grandmother's (that is an insurmountable aspiration anyway) but excellent. The wine list was excellent as well, with the usual more pedestrian selection of Cabernet, Merlot and Pinot Noir. We chose the Chianti, delicious. Our chicken dish was not only delicious but great for low-carb keto dieters. “Cosy little place with the Italian vibe you'd expect from a charming Long Island Italian place. It's half traditional slices and half sit down Italian restaurant. The sit down food is great and the pizza is higher level. Not your average corner store.They have a wine selection worthy of this level of Italian cuisine.I always judge Italian restaurants by their eggplant dishes. This one passes the test.Servers are quick and courteous. They always have more people on staff then needed so there's never a wait. At least every time I've been there.I used to go when I grew up a few towns over and it doesn't seem to have changed.Their Sicilian is my go to when it comes to slices. I like their marinara sauce for dipping as well.

Vegetarian options: Pizza and eggplant dishes.

Parking: Always more then enough. The parking lot is huge.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid oriented but definitely kid friendly.

“Pizza and calzones are always burnt, effecting the taste. Even when you ask the staff to cook it lightly, they still burn them. Calzones have way too much mozzarella cheese, and not enough ricotta cheese. Burnt is the norm here. Staff are friendly.“
