“We have dined at Orto several times and it never disappoints. One of our favorite restaurants on all of Long Island. Food is always fantastic and the service and atmosphere are exceptional. Highly recommend trying this hidden gem.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

We had Debbie as our host, who was very kind and attentive, she had top tier suggestions for any kind of food, cigars, and atmosphere we were searching for. We also met a wonderful couple at the bar who were super friendly and gave us some great tips for when we attend the US Open. Isaiah was an awesome waiter who brought us our food and drinks with perfect timing, kudos to the chef for an outstanding meal, the owners who we also got the opportunity to meet and have a familiar conversation with about our home MA, and the bartenders who made amazing drinks to top it all off! “The interior had been updated since I was last on the Island, I always meet friends here. I prefer the more traditional atmosphere it previously had. The rib eye was tough this time, the potato salad superb, but overall very disappointed. The music was loud and was some radio station that a teenager
might listen to, not at all relaxing.“

“Happened upon this restaurant while visiting Port Jefferson. And glad we did. Got here early enough that we could get a table right away. Steve took great care of us without being overbearing. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms, which were so freaking good. For main course my husband got the Chicken & Sausage Scarpiello, and I had the Veal Scallopini - both were delicious. We finished off sharing the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake. This exceeded my expectations. Everything was so good that my husband wants to go back tomorrow!“

“First time here... I was in the mood for pizza and husband wanted a meal for a late lunch.
Place is clean and fresh, seated right away. Ordered martini's and they were nice and cold filled to the top.
I ordered off the menu, a thin crust Margareta person pizza and he got Pasta Bolgnese, super delicious, fresh basil. They serve a little bread basket with fresh oil, herbs and olives, and also fruit infused water which was great in a hot day.
The staff is excellent and attentive and the atmosphere was cozy.
New Italian place for us, which is a lot being an Italian. Looking forward try more meals here.“

“Pizza and calzones are always burnt, effecting the taste. Even when you ask the staff to cook it lightly, they still burn them. Calzones have way too much mozzarella cheese, and not enough ricotta cheese. Burnt is the norm here. Staff are friendly.“

“Tonight we had Gino’s Pizza Truck at our school carnival event and they were absolutely a HUGE hit ! Pizza was delicious and families were so happy! The staff were so kind and everyone raved ! Thank you for adding to our carnival event. We will definitely be booking them for future events !“

“This was an online delivery. Great job by everyone. Full portions of entre, soup and salad. A lot of to go orders from other places cheap out on portions but this was possibly more than would get in restaurant. They even gave utensils, packets of croutons, grated cheese, salad dressing and even the andes candies treats. I highly endorse 😃😃“

“ive been looking for a good wood fired pizza place for a while and now ive found it , i went there on friday and got a margarita pizza and a calzone , both were super yum and made with fresh ingredients but the calzone was out of this world and i will be coming back with my wife for lunch“

“this has become my new favorite pizza place, and while I probably shouldn't I've eaten here almost every day last week. their slices and pies are always fresh, delicious and inventive. they even make the kid slices cool which is a huge plus.“

“Picked up Three pies two hero’s the price is great. we ordered three different types deep dish. Thin. Crust and regular pie with meatballs five stars the meat balls really made the pie.“

“They catered our party and the food was fabulous. Their meatballs are soft and the best we’ve tasted. The trays were filled to the top. The chicken parm, chicken francaise, and pasta dishes were great. Hero was great too. I was a little hesitant hiring them only because I had never used them before. I decided to use them because we had gone there for dinner a few times and loved the meatballs and other dishes (chicken bruschetta for one) and their homemade dipping sauce for their bread. I could be happy with the dipping sauce and bread alone, delicious! We will definitely use them again to cater. They delivered and were right on time.“
