If you need to plan a party then look no further. I was looking at several Italian restaurants for a surprise birthday party for my husband. Did not feel comfortable with what the others were offering for the prices they were charging and then I looked into Setauket Pastaria. Ok... overall I think the food here is good. By biggest takeaway is that their done in food is a cut above their counter stuff. Their specialty slices are good, specifically the salad ones but some of them like the buffalo chicken etc can be a little raw and then over cooked on the bottom,l. Called to place an order for pick up very simple pie with 1/2 topping the girl on the phone was not paying attention at all. 3 times I had to say my order. Then instead of saying goodbye or thank you after I placed the Oder she rudely hung up. Needless to say we called back canceled our order. Just very rude phone service.
