“Best Chinese food I've ever eaten. I'm a skilled food critic and this was probably the best place I have ever had lunch at. On top of the food tasting amazing, the workers were super personable, and the wait for food was only about 5 to 10 minutes.“

“My Go-To place in Kings Park for Chinese Food. Staff is always kind to me. Service is pretty quick, never more than a 10 minute wait. Really good Wonton Soup. I also like their Vegetable Lo Mein, General Tso's chicken, and Eggrolls. Certainly recommend.“

“This is hands down the best soup dumpling place I’ve ever been to. I lived in Manhattan for 20 years and never experienced such authenticity as Red Tiger Their crabmeat and pork soup dumplings are the best thing on the menu. However, they have so many different ones to try. Everytime we come here we always try a new one.
Red tiger FTW!!!“

Daniela also checked in during my time there at Mogu. She is exceptional, friendly, professional, cares about the customer and is passionate about the food and my dining experience. Daniela is an asset to Mogu and a wonderful customer “ambassador “ !

“Best Chinese takeout in the Northport area.
It’s not a sit down place.
Fast and easy orders.
Excellent traditional Chow Mein. All orders picked have been flavorful and delicious.
Large portions (actually too large).
Extremely conscientiousness customer service that goes far beyond the current norm.
I also enjoy their French Fries as I’m a lover of the same.
Been a customer for well over 25 years although a hiatus here and there due to work and timing.
Blows away most of the other locals as far as food quality and service.
- could easily go on with positives -
Vegetarian options: I think from my experience they will make what you want and how you want it. They have for me in the past.
My experience’s may differ from yours.
Dietary restrictions: The counter person, a younger man who I think is a family member quickly helps with any food type concerns. He is 100% English fluent, intelligent and delegates the same to chef’s.
Parking: Massive grocery store parking lot. Probably over 500 spaces available at any given time“

“I often order a steamed chicken n broccoli meal with (chicken) fried rice which comes with a pint of (chicken noodle or wonton) soup. They also grow their own string beans at home n offer them to change up my meal now n then. Nice folks.
I've been getting take out for about 5 years now; they'll ask if I want my usual when I call. 10 minutes later, I'll have a fresh hot meal with soup n fortune cookies for $12 again. Cash only.“

Nick, who is always there and very nice and helpful and easy-going. It’s always a pleasure to see him behind the counter always in a great mood. I highly recommend this place above all others.

“I've been eating their food for about a year and some change now and they can usually guess what I want to eat . I like their sesame chicken and they package their foods really well with containers that don't spill and sort of snap shut. Due to the pandemic I've been sitting in my car after ordering and they usually bring out my food or signal me so I'm not waiting forever. The 2 girls that usually do the orders are pretty nice and polite .“

“food is amazing- however I had a very unpleasant experience. One of the first few times I ordered delivery from them I was about to give my card number and I just picked the card up from my lap and while I was doing that the lady yelled into my ear "hellooo" it was a loud and long hello and i apologized, it was just one split second and I just can't believe the impatience someone can have if they're in the customer service business. If your going to ask if the customer if there still there just do it politely. I love the food here and this establishment just learn some manners please.“

“Great place to enjoy peanuts and leave shells on the floor while you wait for a seat. You can even have them at your table. The warm bread with honey butter is the next event to fill your stomach before the actual meal starts. Chili is a great appetizer. I think most of the side dishes are fine. Steaks are good but whatever you do, stay away from any sirloin. Even prepared at medium, it tastes and chews like shoe leather and not the rich Corinthian leather kind. I've been there numerous times, but I guess the visits are spread out enough that I forget to avoid the sirloin. My default cheap nature guides me to sirloin and I regret it after the first bite. Ribeye, NY strip and anything else is fine. I'm not sure I know what their “road kill†cut is or how it tastes.“

“I'm giving 5 stars across the board because I absolutely love this place. Best in the area. There are a couple of tables but it seems it is mostly taken out. I have to recommend the fried wontons. They are different from every other place. Very little dough and delicious insides. Always get a bunch because they are the first to go. Crowd favorite.“

“The menu is diverse with options you wouldn't expect to see at most local chinese restaurants. The yellow curry chicken is delicious, so much so I felt compelled to write this review. The dumplings also are very good. The donuts they threw in were a nice touch as well. The server was very polite even it being a late night order. Will be ordering again!“

“It’s really hard to find a decent Chinese takeout. For some reason, take-out Chinese food is not as good as it was 20 years ago. I find a lot of Chinese food inedible. That said, Red Apple is a good find. I recently ordered the wonton soup, egg roll, shrimp roll. I also ordered the honey chicken with fried rice and vegetable Lo Mein. My husband & I really enjoyed the food. It was tasty & flavorful. So if you’re in the mood for good Chinese food, definitely give this place a try.“

“Classic, reminds me of my younger years on Long Island. Nicely tasty and straightforward. Very accommodative of special dietary needs - no soy sauce for me, no sesame oil for another in our party. I had the cabbage and pork soup - for two and ate it all with gusto! I also had Singapore noodles, which I like very much and here it was presented with good curry taste but not hot (which I enjoy but most others in my party do not). They use trolleys to serve and clear, so there is always a bustle and rumble which is distracting.“

“Hubby loves this place teriyaki chicken on a stick. My last order of sesame chicken was super-duper dry it tasted old and had no sauce whatsoever. He ordered his usual chicken and broccoli and he honestly had 5 pieces of chicken in it and a loooots of broccoli.I ate a little tossed the rest…Yea I’m good not going back.“

“Consistently good food made by very nice people.
We had a small mixup with our take-out order, only once ever, and they handled it very well. As a small business owner I know that sometimes there are hick-ups, but how they are handled is the real indication of whether a business is run with customer satisfaction in mind or not. These guys care and try to do the right thing for their customers. Highly, highly recommend this place!!!“

“TLDR: 4.75/5.Beef with Garlic sauce 5/5 - custom order mild. It really was mild spice. Not much corn starch which is great. A lot of beef slices. Flavor overall is very good. My kids devoured all of it. So far it’s the best tasting near us.Chicken with Curry - 4.75/5. Not much cornstarch which also is great. Just needs slightly more curry, not spicy enough. Chicken is cooked perfectly, very tender.Gen Tso chicken - To be fair, this is takeout with 20 min drive so it’s not going to be crispy. 4.75 for slight crispy. Flavor is 5/5. Not much cornstarch. Just right about of sugar, not overpowering sweet. What surprises me, this is spicy in a very good way. Gen Tso chicken is usually just sweet with no spice. This has an aftertaste spice kick. Great flavor. Looking forward what it taste like fresh out of the frier.Service is great, very pleasant with the owner manning the front. There’s a lot of wholesale products stashed in the front, space is a premium but understandable considering how busy this place is on a Wed 11:45am. Customers keep coming in and out. Very promising as a first time customer visiting this place. Reviews and the flavors justify this place.Although this place is far at 20-25mins away, it’s worth the long drive.“

“When someone in my house is sick, we can depend on Happy Dragon chicken broth for nourishment. Their broth is well made; flavorful, and not greasy. We also love their other dishes! Best moo goo gai pan around, best general tso's, crab Rangoon... it's all good, well prepared. We have been patrons for over 20 years! Thank you Jeff and Ling!“

“It is a Chinese restaurant specializing in delivery and takeout. The prices are relatively cheap, the food tastes good and the portions are generous. Fried rice, General Tso chicken, and Lo Mein, fried noodles, are also delicious. Fried rice and noodles made in a wok have a more savory taste due to the added fire flavor.“

“I grew up going there. I always liked it. I would get the chicken and broccoli with white sauce, white rice. I would get wonton soup and shrimp roll. It's been there over 30 years. I don't know if it's new owners, have not ate there in awhile. I think it's been a few years. I have to back and try again. It's a take place, but they have a few tables. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“

“Cane here for the 1st time, and the food was great. A bunch of my co-workers placed an order, and I was sure that they would get something wrong, but everything was perfect. Great food and even the women behind the counter were great. She threw in some free wantons because we spent so much. I got the boneless pork and it is prepared differently than most places do. They use chunks of ribs rather than the thin stripes many other places do. Dumpling were great!...recommend 100%“

“We eat a lot of Chinese food lol. Tried many places around Deer Park and the food here honestly tastes the best! Even the white rice tastes better! Only thing is they don’t pack the containers fully, so it feels like you are getting ripped off. This wasn’t always the case. I wish they would fill them all the way.“

“Most consistent Chinese takeout spot I've had. Food is always hot and fresh. Plenty of sauce with the dishes, some places are hit or miss with the amount of sauce in the dish. Usually come here for lunch because it's local, but for now on when I am home and want some takeout I will drive the extra 15 minutes because it's so worth it.“

“Only one visit so far so I will adjust if need be. Fried rice was top tier for the area. So was the sesame chicken and the lo mein. The wonton soup was pretty standard but the wonton meat was really good. I think it was ginger in there that made them stand out. My only complaint was the large boneless spareribs at 18$ were very fatty. Could have been the batch so I won’t hold that against them unless it happens again.“

“I tried many different Chinese take-out restaurants in the area when I moved here 2 years ago. I was really disappointed by the quality until I ordered from New Kings. I'm surprised they don't have a higher rating. The food is consistently good. I just wish they had a few more things on their menu like duck and wontons with shrimp.“
