One time my card was hacked and I didn’t know, I called back to tell them to forget it and they gave me my food without me paying bc I ordered so much. Told me pay them back next time. “We recently had dinner at the Cantonese Kitchen and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was. We ordered the Sesame Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken, both were flavorful, well prepared, and served hot. The portions were generous and hit the spot.
The customer service was also solid. The staff was polite, and patient, he made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.
Now, with that being said, the restaurant itself could really use a facelift. The atmosphere feels dated, and a few upgrades to the decor would go a long way in matching the quality of the food and service.
Overall, it’s a great place to grab a delicious meal, and with a little investment in the space, it could easily become a local favorite.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. “What a spectacular hidden gem of a restaurant! I'll go anywhere for a good duck breast, this place absolutely delivered 110%. Right amount of char, the seasoning, and it was cooked to perfection. Smoked salmon and burrata apps were delicious. We couldn't be happier with the very attentive service, quaint atmosphere - and the food was really on point for such an unassuming location. Also, the hot rice pudding with golden raisins was fantastic, as close to grandmas recipe as I can remember coming across! Keep up the spectacular work!“

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to shout from the rooftops how great everything was- the lo mein, chicken and broccoli, and wonton soup was so tasty and fresh. “Usually come here to get our fix for soup dumplings and Chinese Cuisine in suffolk county. Everything tastes good as always and service is decent, depending on how busy it gets. Depending on the time of day, there could be a wait to get a table. But once you're seated and your order is taken, the food arrives pretty quickly.“

“Visited this restaurant after show at Bellport Playhouse. Very nice inside and the service was amazing. My husband enjoyed his Filet Mignon, he loved it! My meal on the other hand, chicken della casa was not good at all. The chicken was so bland I couldn't eat it. I should have sent back but didn't by that point I lost my appetite. I did order the dessert tiramisu which was really good. I would go back but next time I would try another dish.“

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“So my go-to Thai place sadly closed..I saw this place online and it had great reviews, so we decided to try it and I'm so glad we did! First impression was that it was very clean, very welcoming and relaxing. It's on the smaller side maybe 6 tables. The woman who took our order was so sweet, gracious, and attentive. We ordered the mixed satay, samosa, and Indian pancake for apps..ALL AMAZING! For entrees we ordered the spicy basil chicken and I think it was called Bangkok chicken...absolutely delicious! Perfectly spicy, and crispy! Food came out pretty quickly but she brought out each app as it was done which I enjoy.
.and wasn't rushing out entrees everything was perfectly timed. Also got a thai ice tea which was great not overly sweet at all. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend checking them out!“
