“We love the food. I enjoy the sushi, and I LOVE their Moo shu. Kids love the chow mein and rice. We haven't had a bad experience. They are always busy with to go orders but still are very attentive to making sure your orders gets out quickly.“
“It’s hard to find a consistent Chinese food restaurant. New Century has been a go-to for my family and I for years. The food is always good, the staff is really friendly and the restaurant is clean. We have catered food and had smaller lunch specials. The food is always good. We love their wonton soup and pork fried rice.“
“Kira Sushi is a gem! The yellowtail jalapeño is an absolute must-try, bursting with flavor and freshness. And what's a visit to Kira without indulging in a sake bomb? It's practically a rite of passage! With impeccable service and an inviting ambiance, Kira Sushi earns a well-deserved recommendation. A culinary experience not to be missed!“
“delicious food i would highly recommend and will definitely come back.Every dish we tried was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, showcasing the chef's impeccable skill and dedication to authenticity. From the delicate dumplings to the fiery Szechuan specialties, each bite transported us to the bustling streets of Beijing or the tranquil tea gardens of Hangzhou. The attention to detail extends beyond the cuisine to the presentation, with each dish artfully arranged to please both the eyes and the palate.“
“This place is different. Different from the other American Chinese take out, I grew up eating. The Dan Dan Noodles, house special fried rice, and the Orange Chicken are some of the regular options we go with. The service is attentive and friendly. It's definitely worth a try.“
“Best Chinese in the area! with lots of options in the mastic Shirley area you would think we would have a few good options to choose from, sadly not the case. But Sweet Garden hasn't disappointed me yet. Fried rice has good amount of addins, not just yellow rice & few scraps of onion. Egg foo young, shrimp with lobster sauce, chicken & veggies. All standard American Chinese food, but flavors/textures I expect. delivery or pickup available.“
“Looks pretty clean inside the boneless spare ribs were great the wontons were really good. The rice even tho it was white rice was good it wasnt dry The spring rolls had a weird taste the broth of the soup a little watery I didn’t like the sesame chicken or pork lomein but my sister did. Haven’t had decent Chinese food in a “
“We called ahead for a reservation but still had to wait about 30 min. to be seated, but it was worth it. Food was delicious and server did a great job - very entertaining and friendlyKid-friendliness: Other than the saki that is squirted in adults mouths, it is very kid friendly“
“One of the best take out Chinese restaurants! Food always taste fresh. They’re very efficient when it comes down to the wait time. Never worried about having cold food cause that will not happen. Everyone provides the top notch services and this place is very accommodating. Pricing is reasonable for the portion of food you’ll get. Highly recommended. Bonus: boneless spareribs with pork fried rice is always the favorite food to get“
“Love owner Johnny make you feel like family. Food is always Amazing and a huge variety and seasonal changes to menu not other places always the same and boring. I would highly recommend and say hello to Johnny and tell him big Joe says hello.Vegetarian options: Rolls, and they will make whatever you want just ask.Parking: Never had a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly. owner Johnny gives kids a toy. My daughter loved it.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes all ground level. I have seen a few people in wheelchair there.“
“Where to start? The food and the service is always amazing. The lady in the front is super nice and alwys incredibly attentive to my needs when I order. I usually get sautéed broccoli and rice, and sometimes chicken wings and fried rice. The broccoli is always cooked with a good crunch and the white rice is always moist and fluffy. The sauce they use on the broccoli is also amazing. The fried rice and the wings is also good as a quick lunch, the wings is always crispy and nothing is ever soggy or greasy; everything always tastes fresh. The ambiance is always nice as well as the waitress makes my experience there always welcoming, w there it be dining or taking out.“
“The food is very delicious. The workers are very kind and friendly. This restaurant is primarily take out and is usually always very busy, however, if they say your order will be done in a set time they are usually true to their word. Highly recommend.“
“Absolutely delicious food here! The general tso’s was pure thick chunks of white meat chicken with a light coating of breading and just the right amount of spicy. My dad hates vegetables and they were sure to leave them all out as requested for shrimp and lobster sauce with pork fried rice. We even got an extra egg roll for free! This is definitely our new spot.“
“Food is delicious here. There is no comparing this place to the usual take-out food. This is a absolute step up. I ordered the gyoza, mongolian beef and some sushi. I was so surprised that all of them were excellent. I've only gotten delivery but it was well priced, very tasty and there's plenty of choices. I will definitely be ordering again.“
“This place is my favorite. I eat in many restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cooking they cook is so delicious. I would always prefer to have a good dinner here. I highly recommend this place.“
“In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food in the Mastic-Shirley area. The food is always on point and tastes "clean." Unlike other places, where from week to week, you don't know if it will be good or bad. The gentleman owner is SUPER friendly. (His wife, not so much, but we bypass her.) The portions are VERY generous with a good price point.“
“When you order food at a NY Chinese food place , you pretty much always know what to expect. I was having a serious craving for dumplings so I figured I’d try this place, expecting the typical, doughy dumplings most places will give you. Like, they’re good, ok. Hence why I was craving dumplings. But nothing wildly special. THIS place though? I was immediately pleasantly surprised upon my first bite. The texture wasn’t very doughy, but not too thin, and the filling was delicious! Just so much better than your typical Chinese restaurant. And I mean it’s awesome when you’re craving something so specific and what you get surpasses your expectations. Best take out dumplings I’ve ever had.“
“Another update, 11/16/2023Another awesome lunch from this excellent Chinese restaurant today. The people who own this restaurant have always treated us like family. The food is delicious, hot and decently priced.Just wanted to do an update 11/5/23We have been going here for while now and this Chinese restaurant is a real gem. The food is excellent always extremely hot and delicious. The people who own this restaurant have always been nice and the prices are very competitive.Went here for the first time over the weekend with my son. This place has excellent food and the prices are extremely competitive to other Chinese restaurants in the area.“
“All the time i order chicken with broccoli with vegetable fried rice and my 7yrs old love the food (can even finish a plate for himself) but the ribs, the general tso chicken/beef, the lo meins etc is all taste and fare price. The service is first come first serve but they work fast. The ambience unfortunately is not to big since they only have 2 to 3 tables to eat in but pretty everything is for take out.“
“I have been ordering here for a decade, I will not order from any other Chinese food place. They have the best take out Chinese Food in LI, And the delivery always comes very fast! I recommend this place to everyone when they bring up Chinese Food“
“I have been coming here for a few years now and this is the Chinese takeout that I crave when I want Chinese. They are very consistent and the food is always hot fresh and crispy with good flavor. And the prices are still reasonable. Love this place and it’ll continue to be my go to for Chinese takeout.“
“After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to try New Jade House the other day. I ordered a lunch special - boneless ribs, fried rice, egg drop soup and egg roll. The soup was delicious and the egg roll crisp and not greasy....but could have had more flavor. The boneless ribs were small pieces of meat and very fatty and the fried rice was dry. Maybe lunchtime is the wrong time to order. Needless to say, I was disappointed.“
“The chicken wings with fries were delicious, reminiscent of my favorite spot back home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. As a Queens native, I can confidently say this place is legit. Highly recommend!“
“This is amazing! This is now my new primary Chinese spot. The people are very nice and friendly. Most up the time I do take out and literally by the time I call and order the food is ready. Sometimes I do delivery and it’s says it will take 45 mins but it doesn’t it take like 10-20 mins. Best Chinese restaurant ever ?“
“Sometimes the best places in life, are the places you least expect. I was in the area and felt the urge for Chinese. My friend said he always goes to "New Wing Shun Kitchen" and that the food is amazing. I guess that means I have to try it and yes, of course, Yelp it. It's located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. The store seems as if it's been there for a longtime, it's a bit dated. And the inside was no different. The main dining area was small. It was also a bit on the needing attention side. But I wasn't staying to eat. I ordered my food and it was prepared pretty quickly. Once I sat in my car, I wasted no time. I tried the crab ragoons first. Truth be told, they were delicious. I was surprised with the flavor. I can say they are the best I've had. Next was my combo. I tried the chicken and it was tender and not chewy like the normal place I goto by my house. This chicken was juicy and the sauce was perfect. The broccoli was the way I like it and the rice, was fluffy and worked with the meal. I normally never get rice, but my friend recommended it. My experience with this place was positive, I would definitely go back and recommend like my friend did for me. I only hope, they clean up before more people show up.“
“Food is good and plentiful especially for the prices we're paying nowadays. Super easy and convenient to order online, a lot of Chinese restaurants don't offer this. Lunch specials are also good and reasonably priced. I generally prefer Asian fusion type places but if you're looking for traditional Americanized Chinese food this is my preferred place in the area. Side note it's really just a take out joint... don't expect a sit down meal here.“
“Some of the just best food in Coram!I have been eating at this family-owned restaurant for close to 20 years (at different locations) & the family consistently makes delicious quality food.Coram is very lucky to have Ming Kong cooking for our community. Yum & thank you!:>)“
“Joy Wo Chinese Kitchen serves up amazing Chinese food! The flavors are authentic and delicious. It's my go-to spot for tasty dishes and friendly service. If you're a fan of Chinese cuisine, this place is a must-try. Five stars for consistently great food!“
“I needed to find a close-to-home chinese take out (Got tired of traveling 25 minutes round-trip) and I heard from neighbors that Uncle Ray won't disappoint. They were right! I had the steamed Gen Tso chicken with chicken lo mein. It was a bit more spicy than I'd like but it was delicious. Their cheese wontons are so crispy too! The teriyaki beef sticks were tender and just the right amount of teriyaki flavor.Parking: convenientWheelchair accessibility: convenient“
