“Sakura House has the kindest most friendly staff. The food is absolutely amazing to say the least. I myself am a sushi fanatic and out of all the places i’ve been to, Sakura House takes the crown!”
“To Sharon, who decided to complain about a freaking language barrier, grow up. I live nearby, eat here regularly, and have never had an experience like that. English is my only language and they're extremely professional in how they conduct themselves in that situation. It takes very little research to learn "ayuda en Ingles, por favor" laziness on other people's part is their problem.Good pizza, great American/Spanish mix of deli food. There is something for everybody here. Absolutely stop by. I've never seen a roach.”
“10/10, food is incredible. They're so friendly and nice in there. Egg rolls, chicken platters, fried rice are phenomenal. We've tried a TON of chinese food restaurants and this one takes the cake.Vegetarian options: plenty of options”
“I've been visiting this Deli for over 30 years! (Before it was bought out, & now there is brand new ownership!!) It has changed its name and ownership, but for over 30 years up until currently, now I still refer to it as Michael's Deli. But...the only 2 things that have changed completely, Are the fact it is run by new ownership, and is now called deli delight instead of Michael's Also the food is extremely delicious and more options of it inside! By saying that, I'm referring to the food being just as delicious, or should I say.. more delicious, then I remember going to it from 30 plus years back. They also have a little more options to choose from, and very nice employees! The only 2 complaints I can sincerely, say that it is extremely expensive and most of the prepared foods or packaged items are double and triple the price way before everything happening in our economy now. They raised by triple the prices when the economy was doing good! Also they will not accept my food stamp card, and it is very hard to walk to the closest deli in a town that has no public transportation which and the grocery store are 8 miles apart from each other, and I can walk 8 Miles, but I cannot walk the eight miles home because they removed the bus system from this whole section of Long Island! I and disabled and I don't drive don't drive and they do not accept food stamps and have a very very small option to buy aspirin or simple things when you're too tired to cook most delis have a special freezer part in it with just emergency meals if somebody's in a rush! Now everything they serve that I am still saying is just as delicious, quote just because they're the only place I can walk to because I don't drive! The only complaints that I can make are how extremely high the prices have changed, those prices were that high way before the economy had anything to do with it! And its location is not very easy to get to because I don't drive, but they also do not accept food stamps! I understand economy and people needing more money but this Deli has raised it ad prices almost by double before anything is happening with the government and money and the downfall of our government!”
“Old time ny bar no noses up in the air local crowd easy to get along with good bartenders great juke box just a laid back place probably one of the last dive bars left on long island had a good time got a lot of local info”
“We never knew this place existed but awesome find. Here tonight to support a friend in their open mic night. Parking was easy. Heard they have an amazing patio in Summer. Sitting in a U shaped booth with 2 others and 5 others in the U shaped booth across from us. ? Mikey was our host and server which was top notch...He made the evening with his service. 5 stars for sevice! He also had a female server who assisted our table that was great too.Clean & friendly neighborhood spot and we would be back again! Family friendly, even a diaper changing table. Very Texan Roadhouse I guess? I could see how it is cafe by day with bar and a local bar w food at night....like tonight. The front entrance was not handicap accessible but there might have been other other entrances because I saw walkers, canes, and crutches tonight. The front was a little narrow, steps and you go through 2 doors. There was one fruit fly or fly at our table and the you have to hold toilet handle for a solid flush. I came in to an unflushed toilet, and when I tried..had to flush twice.I usually give 4 stars as my usual highest review because I believe every venue has room to improve and I have only had one experience here. The menu had many various options. There was a Gluten Free Bun and also Veggie burger option too. I had a brisket slider with Swiss cheese. The menu says it is $1 to add cheese but I was charged $2. Ordered the special Pumpkin Marinara Penne alla Vidka w/Spinach which was good but maybe just me but I did not taste much pumpkin. A friends tasted and said everything was kind of bland. One ordered Flounder and the other ordered Mac & Cheese w pulled pork. I threw in an order of Pecan pie but didn't realize the ice cream wasn't served with it ? but I was only able to have one bite, and i ate the ice cream. We all loved the whipped cream! ? 3 of us...not drinking alcohol. Ginger ale, coffee, water. Everything was itemized clearly on receipt. Our Bill was $108 before tax. If anyone needed to know there is 3% surcharge to use credit card which added almost $4. I believe has become standard practice for restaurants since Covid and it is written on the menu. There is a $3 per plate share charge. $120.84 was our bill... so we spent $145 total which I think is high for what we got but not complaining. We had fun and everyone was kind. Happy Holidays. Thanks for your service!Like I said..we would be back but I would probably stick with Texas ribs or wings and fries.Kid-friendliness: Chicken fingers...child drawings on wall...and diaper changing table.”
“Its the waterviews and the service that make this a very busy Hamptons favorite. The food is pricey and good, but not special. Foze is the perfect summer cocktail. Food truck at the water's edge is a real treat for really casual food and drink.”
“Noticed that there is always a crowd of locals and workers in this deli, dining at the picnic tables in the parking lot, so decided to give it a try. The food is excellent: platters of rice, beans and meat, the turkey club has fresh carved turkey (not that processed deli junk). Everything is clean and fresh. Highly recommend this local joint.”
“People that actually pay attention to what you are ordering and HOW YOU WANT IT.Best fried bacon in town. How fried bacon is supposed to be. Not half burnt or half raw PERFECT..ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!”
“Tony's Asian fusion is the number one hibachi place in the hamptons. The food is consistently good, portions are huge, staff is so attentive and friendly, and the place is always very clean. Sushi is also great. This is a perfect spot for a winter time dinner that's more than just a regular sit down spot. Entertaining for kids, families, groups, and couples!”
“What a lovely experience at Flora! The service was impeccable. The waitstaff and kitchen went above and beyond to cater to my daughter who wanted a hot dog and the food was absolutely delicious. And also, the flower pot dessert must not be missed! We will be back!”
“Went for a birthday dinner with a group of 6. The service was A1. Very nice and helpful. The table was also a horseshoe shape that was nice for the group to interact. It was restaurant week. The food was good, above average. Nothing blew us away but it was good.I will go back.”
“First time visiting today. The owner was friendly and engaging. Great selection of chocolates and delicious coffees made with clean ingredients at a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be back!?”
“Great location on the water. The service was impeccable, the waitress took order for 6 people without taking notes and nailed every meal and drink. Amazing. The clam chowder was delicious although the NY steak was a little tougher than I expected, but the side of truffle fries almost made up for it.Would return and recommend as all the dishes looked great.”
“This is a follow up to our 2023 review of R., Aire at the Hampton Maid in Hampton Bays. As superb as R. Aire was during the past eighteen months, recent visits underscore that the restaurant continues to reach new culinary heights under Chef and Owner Alex Bujoreanu. In a landscape of high priced and often mediocre restaurants on the East End, R. Aire is a unique venue - a chef driven restaurant which offers sophisticated cuisine inspired by the classics of Spain - in an elegant, serene setting - and at moderate prices.Although we have previously taken note of R. Aire’s outstanding signature paellas, the “non rice” sections of the menu offer a range of equally delicious dishes - all made with the finest (and often local) ingredients and reflecting the chef’s masterful synthesis of both classical and modern influences. For example, Chef Bujoreanu offers an amazing Fideua - a short grain pasta dish cooked in the method of paella (in a paella pan) in a richly flavored sofrito. R. Aire’s Fideua is a textural wonder, served two ways - as a seafood and squid ink classic or a rustic wild mushroom and duck version. Fideua is rarely offered in the U.S. - these renditions are authentic and superb.R. Aire’s appetizers and small plate “pinchos”offer an array of delectable choices, from flavorful morsels of grilled lamb (Morunos), aromatic grilled Shishito peppers, succulent octopus, airy meatballs and a lovely heirloom beet salad. One could construct a deeply satisfying dinner from these perfectly composed small plates. In addition to the Fideua and traditional paellas for which R. Aire is known - the paellas have a perfect “socarrat” base and are cooked to order and served in individual paella pans - the non rice dishes are equally impressive. Memorable main courses include pristine local sea scallops, breast of duck, Iberico pork and a filet mignon of Wagyu beef. This is cooking at a very high level. The service at R. Aire is warm and inviting. The restaurant’s gracious manager, Grigore, provides an attentive hands on presence in the dining room; he is clearly focused on delivering the service and hospitality which has been the restaurant’s credo since it opened. It should be noted the restaurant’s wine list has continued to evolve, offering a range of wines from Spain and the U.S. and other wine regions from excellent producers - and at fair prices. In a world of formulaic restaurants and homogeneous food, R. Aire stands out for its warmth, value and brilliant cooking. Bravo to Chef Bujoreanu and his team for creating a special venue in Hampton Bays.”
“Just ate dinner there. Excellent food and service. Cozy, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back. Especially liked the Jersey burger with the toot beer barbecue sauce, Applewood bacon, and cheddar on a pretzel roll.”
“Best ice cream spot. The ice cream is great, the cruchie toppings is unique and a must get. The people serving work great as a team and you can even hear them encouraging each other while it's super busy they keep the line moving. I recommend you check them out.”
“Great little spot, small but quaint with a delightful atmosphere. The dishes don’t dissapoint and the drinks pack a little punch. Love coming here in Fall/Winter. Cute decor and nice staff.”
“Being a Bariatric , Crohn’s patient its very hard to get proper mealsI stopped into this location and spoke with sydneyShe was kind helpful and now will be a regular customer !”
“Came here for a birthday lunch date. My husband had the coconut shrimp, I had the Island burger with fries. We got a key lime pie to go as well, which was complimentary. Ty Rumba for the wonderful meal & service.”
“Fantastic Polish Deli and grocery run by some really nice people. They have a big selection of kielbasa and their prepared dishes are delicious. Their stuffed cabbage was fantastic with so much flavor. The pigs knuckle was also extremely good if you're into that. There was also a large pastry section that I'm going back to check out.”
“Really good burgers and a good atmosphere. Great to hangout with your friends as well. It’s cash only and they have an ATM there as well just in case if you don’t come in with cash.I ordered the Bronco burger (apparently a lot of people order this burger and I see why!) and it was delicious with the side of chocolate milkshake!”
“Unbelievable such amazing cafe does exist on Long Island. Excellent espresso, fantastic and authentic tiramisu and tres leches. This now is our coffee place for eastern LI trips.”
“My favorite Restaurant in the North Fork. Simple menu but you either need to come back 20 times and order something different each time or if you’re just visiting order the entire menu. You won’t be disappointed by a single item. Quick and consistent service. I’m shocked the food network hasn’t showed up here yet.”
“Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Long Island. Super authentic and great portions. Workers were really nice and the restaurant itself was really clean. Will be coming back ?”
“My first visit to Jerry and the Mermaid was nothing short of magical. Nestled along the seaside, this charming restaurant boasts not only impeccable food but also a breathtaking setting that instantly transports you to a coastal paradise. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel like longtime regulars, despite it being our first time there. Jerry himself checked in on us multiple times, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection.Despite the bustling Friday crowd during Easter weekend, Jerry’s accommodating nature and honesty about the wait time made our decision to stay worth it. And oh, was it worth it! As we strolled along the docks, soaking in the ocean breeze, anticipation built for what turned out to be a phenomenal experience. The food, oh the food! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and made with the utmost care. From the freshest seafood to delectable appetizers, every bite was a delight to the senses. But it wasn’t just the food that left a lasting impression. The atmosphere of the restaurant, with its cozy yet vibrant ambiance, added an extra layer of charm to the entire experience. Surrounded by the sound of waves and the sight of boats swaying gently in the harbor, we found ourselves lost in the moment, savoring each bite and each precious moment spent at Jerry and the Mermaid. In a world where exceptional dining experiences are rare gems, Jerry and the Mermaid shines brightly as a beacon of excellence. Whether you’re a local or a visitor passing through, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at this seaside paradise. You won’t regret it!”
“It is always a pleasant surprise to find places with soul. Excellent food focused on fine ingredients and respecting the process. Really loved the plentiful amount of butter on my side pancake and the thoughtful and detailed customer service. Will definitely add to my breakfast places go-to rotation!”
“I can't say enough good things about this place. Picked it at random when the restaurant I was hoping for was closed for the season and so very, very happy it was, or I may never have had the wonderful experience that is the Wine Room, great food/service/atmosphere. Really unique and wonderful.”
“Went for lunch while in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I did a quick search for gluten free and found this place. My mother has Celiac and was over the moon that she could have anything on the menu! My shakshuka was good, she loved her chicken sandwich. But the star of lunch was the fried calamari. The place is cute and intimate, good music playing. We'll be back next time we're near.”
“Been here many times. The food is always well seasoned and cooked with attention to detail. Definitely a stand out in the crowded field of fine dining hamptons restaurants.”
