“Latin Fuzion has the best Mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. Tucked in a shopping center called Feather Hill Village right in Southold on the North Fork is this family owned restaurant. I had a chicken fajita platter prepared with onions and peppers that tasted so fresh along with the rice and beans that came with it. Everything was cooked to perfection. I can’t even have Mexican food again….UNTIL I get back to Latin Fuzion. It is worth the drive from ANYWHERE.Not only was the food out of this world…but even in a casual atmosphere, the food AND service were Michelin Restaurant worthy. A MUST if you like Mexican food. OBSESSED. Five stars!!!!! ♥“

“Cute atmosphere and the most amazing staff. Had on our little section which was perfect. Had our own little flights and charcuterie board. Board was delicious and had so many options. It paired nicely with the red flight. Really enjoyed our experience here and had a wonderful time- recommend“

But yesterday was very slow and disorganized
There was Not a lot of people for lunch on a weekday when we came either and
it took a while for us to get seated and waitress forgot one of my orders I had to remind them of it.
I’ll come back since it has great food and location but please improve the service.“

If you are a Rose person this is your kinda winery. They have a great estate rose which is much better then your average LI rose. Their cab franc is also very good and is nice and lite.
They have a small tapas menu and also have a private room for events and tours.
Definitely a must try if your on the north fork.“

“This is such a cozy little brewery that it feels more like a boutique than brewery. They even have a small menu of fancy sounding cocktails, which appear to change frequently and based on holidays. The fun little space does have some outdoor seating, but it was a bit chilly during our visit, so we stayed inside chatting with one of the most genuine beertenders we've ever met.Our favorite beer of the visit was the North Shore Red Ale, and the Sexy MF was a close runner up.I wouldn't recommend large groups here, but they can certainly accommodate a few parties of 6 without overwhelming the taproom.“

“This little hole-in-the-wall spot really blew me away! The crab cakes were a little on the mushy side, but the Shrimp Scampi was absolutely phenomenal—quite possibly the best I’ve ever had! It was packed with flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I’d honestly come back just to have that dish all over again! And even though this is a seafood spot, the fried chicken was another surprise—juicy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu! If you’re on Shelter Island and looking for a great dinner without having to get all dressed up, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!“

“Amazing selection of healthy/veggie/vegan food tucked away in a corner of Mattituck. The bison baked empanada was my favorite, while others loved the Power Bowl. This is an eclectic mix of Uruguay and Basque style food, including cornbread, cheesecake and empanadas. Beer and wine available. Dining in AC deli setting, outside on picnic tables or to-go. Hours open are mostly focused around lunch.“

“Hellenic in East Marion was incredible! This was my first Greek meal in 5 years since before my diagnosis. I haven't been able to eat safe from cross contamination gluten free Greek food and today I was sooo happy! Hellenic makes their own gluten free pita bread. It was so good that I bought some frozen gluten free pita to go. We went to the farms today so we just kept driving but it will be a great place to go before or after taking the ferry to Connecticut in the future as it’s on the way. I wish it was closer to central/western Suffolk. I can’t wait to go back.“

“Had lunch today as first time visitors with my family of 5 (3 young kids). We had the best experience! Our waitress was so friendly and attentive! She might be our favorite waitress ever. She gave the kids activities and toys to keep them busy. The food was great and the dessert with candle for my daughter’s 5th birthday put our experience over the top. Brownie sundae was fantastic! We can’t wait to go back. So happy we found this spot.“

“We love going to Capelettis — it’s a charming local restaurant that always makes you feel welcome. The owner and chef, Luigi, always greets you with a smile when you walk through the door, which makes the experience feel very personal and special.
He is an amazing chef — the pasta fagioli soup is the best, and everything is always delicious. The staff couldn’t be nicer, and the whole place has a very homey, local feel.

It also is a cool place to hang out with a casual vibe with no pretense.. as a local realtor when people ask me, what’s a great restaurant in the north sea area Pellegrino is always the first to come to mind. Great food fantastic service a small, but vibrant bar area or what you’ll find here.
They make a great pizza.

“Very accommodating to our large group, reasonably priced with large portions compared to many options on Shelter Island. Friendly and fast service. I enjoyed the hummus wrap with sweet potato fries as a vegan option from the lunch menu. It was delicious and fresh! I would love to see a vegan option on the breakfast menu as well (eg, avocado or hummus toast with a side of home fries, fruit, etc). Kids menu was also large and generously portioned.“

“Great spot to stop at on your way out east. Menu has been updated. Why but play a round of mini golf too? This place is associated with Ellen on Front in Greenport. Another spot on my list to get to.

“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.“

They have cute little shop with pretty souvenirs and some things you just must have at your kitchen. Wine and food platters are divine.
