I had my birthday dinner at Topping Rose House, and it was an amazing experience—just like every other time we’ve been there. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind and patient, even with our little toddler being a bit wild! Gerry was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for me, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d recommend this place 100%!“

“From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by what was quite possibly the most patient host I've ever seen. She was managing a huge crowd with a smile on her face, even while dealing with guests insisting they were owed a table when they weren't. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness.

Once we were seated, we were lucky enough to have Omar as our server, and he was easily the best server in the restaurant. He made sure our table was well taken care of, checked in at the right times, and everything came out promptly, exactly the kind of service we were hoping for. The next time I come back, I'll definitely be asking for Omar.

And the food? I can't lie.. it was absolute FIRE. I'd give the meal an 8/10 overall. Every dish at our table was solid, and I don't think there was a single bad plate.

“Have loved getting dosas from Hampton Chutney since I was a kid! #9 (chicken curry) and #11 (turkey, spinach and jack cheese) are my personal favorites, along with cilantro, peanut, or mango chutneys. The chai is also fantastic. This spot is also great if you have gluten free folks in your group.“

“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.“

“I absolutely recommend One Woman Wines & Vineyards! My family (two adults, one child) visited in June 2026 and had an incredible experience. (Actually, we enjoyed ourselves so much, we visited twice during our trip!) The first time, we tried a couple of wine flights. We had so many favorites, we walked out with three bottles! The second time, we tried a couple of cocktails, which were equally tasty! But just as impressive as the quality of the drinks was the overall vibe. The space is beautiful and welcoming, and the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly, knowledgable and engaging. “went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

It also is a cool place to hang out with a casual vibe with no pretense.. as a local realtor when people ask me, what’s a great restaurant in the north sea area Pellegrino is always the first to come to mind. Great food fantastic service a small, but vibrant bar area or what you’ll find here.
They make a great pizza.

“We love going to Capelettis — it’s a charming local restaurant that always makes you feel welcome. The owner and chef, Luigi, always greets you with a smile when you walk through the door, which makes the experience feel very personal and special.
He is an amazing chef — the pasta fagioli soup is the best, and everything is always delicious. The staff couldn’t be nicer, and the whole place has a very homey, local feel.

“Capt. Phil and his team delivered an awesome beach party last night in Southampton. From appetizers to dessert everything was superb. Freshest clams ever, with Phill shucking non-stop for our guests. The lobster was good and the steak was excellent. Tables were beautifully set with lanterns and torches down the beach plus a giant bonfire! Best for me: they did EVERYTHING PERFECTLY, so we really got to socialize with our friends. Our guests were raving, (even our most jaded Hamptons friends). This was an event to remember and I will always be thankful to Capt. Phil and his extraordinary team!“

“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.“

“Driving around after setting up a display at a golf course we came across this little gem in Sag Harbour. I had three tacos; chicken, chorizo and beef. All were delicious. The portions were spot on. “I went in to order skewers, french fries, and sesame chicken on the fourth of July. The workers were so caring and made sure that all of the items that I got was correct and fresh. The french fries were so crispy and on the inside perfectly soft. Skewers were packed with protein and the sesame chicken had a great sauce. I would come back, right next to the fireworks as well!“

“It was a wonderful evening in many ways! We arrived about 15 minutes early. We were escorted to our table. Turned out that we requested another one and we were then seated at another table. Server immediately came to our table. We ordered cocktails- Sag Harbor Sangria which was amazing. Fabulous appetizers- which were shared among the three of us- Brussel sprouts, shishito peppers and Salad. The main course was delish Halibut! Our server was very attentive throughout our meal. She personally suggested an Apple dessert! Amazing to say the least. In all it was a wonderful evening!“
