I'm tickled by all the reviews that inform us that this is "Americanized Chinese food," as if there wasn't an entire network of these restaurants and that wasn't the norm. The prices here seem to incrementally increase, but the food is still relatively inexpensive and it is exactly what you think it is. This was the only late night place open (Hamptons late is something I will never get used to). So we weren't also expecting it to be some of the most enjoyable Chinese food we've had in a long time! The style was slightly different than the takeout I'm used to; for example the steamed dumplings are like a cross between a bun and a jiaozi rather than one or the other, but such a good texture.
