“Greenport Harbor Brewery has two locations, but this one in particular has the more impressive and spacious layout, making it an ideal spot for large groups. The venue features a massive taproom and a large restaurant area in the back. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside of the brewery. The expansive lawn area is a great space for summer gatherings. There are plenty of adirondack chairs and picnic tables, but in the busier months maybe BYOC just in case. There are various beer styles on draft but I wanted to highlight my favorite, the "Black Duck Porter." Black Duck is black ale infused with cocoa and espresso flavors. While lunch was tasty, the food prices here are higher than we expected to see. Especially since there is no table service; order and pick up counters. This seems to be par for the course on Long Island though.“
“Beautiful winery, the building is so gorgeous and authentic. People here really create an atmosphere and provide amazing experience for customers and club members. They have cute little shop with pretty souvenirs and some things you just must have at your kitchen. Wine and food platters are divine. I really love that they have outdoor sitting in the summer period.“
“Lovely backyard with tables or Adirondack chairs for sipping wine and enjoying appetizers. Friendly staff. Great wines, especially whites and rosés.“
“Fun spot for a casual tasting! 5 wines for $15 with generous pours. Service was quick and you could sit anywhere (you do not need to stand by the bar counter)! There was live music on the outside patio until 5p and it was super enjoyable and relaxed. Of the wines, I found some whites too tart and some reds too astringent but there are no hills on LI for the flavors other wines develop. Otherwise, it was a good spot to just relax, and I would come again to try some more wines and enjoy good company and music!“
“This is one of my favorite vineyards on the island. We discovered this place through my husbands Riverhead family hometown and it has become a quarterly addition to when we visit the family. We came here for a wine tasting and were introduced to the wine club and we haven’t regretted it. The team at Macari always follows up with member concerns and is genuine when things aren’t always seamless and try to make things right in the moment when you give feedback. Highly recommend if you are looking for a wine club and you live in New York City.“

“This is a restaurant not to miss, and by the way, they do a very busy take out business. You can eat at the counter, or select a table for your meal: We always choose the counter. The owners, Justo and Vicki provide excellent service, noting that in my experience, everything is cooked to order, very fresh. You can be certain. that whatever you pick off the Menu, it will be very tasty..the last thing you will worry about is the price of he food, albeit moderate in my opinion. In addition to the usual sodas, etc., Latin Fusion now offers cocktails, beer and wine. I tried their Margarita and was very pleased. Another thing I just found out, in their upstairs, they have a dining room that will seat about 25 people. Except for the times that he helps out with the counter, Justo does the cooking, and he and his staff have that nailed. So the next time you hear the catchy tune "Guantanamera" in your head, put on your zapatos and head in down to Latin Fuzion, as I do, whenever I find myself in Southhold (North Fork of LI) and I have the need for hand prepared, fresh and original Mexican food. In closing, go to their website and check out the menu....don't hesitate to order food to go for 1 person, to the whole family. And while you are at it, experiment with a tasty dessert.“
“TLDR: Great sparkling wine, but double-check your case before you leave. Sparkling Pointe makes impressive wines in the champenois style, enjoyed in a setting reminiscent of a Napa or European vineyard. They grow champagne-style grapes on the North Fork, producing an impressive assortment of cuvées. We enjoyed a long tasting on the beautiful patio, guided by a knowledgeable wine educator who gave us plenty of attention. After sampling several wines, we bought a mixed case of twelve bottles. However, when my husband checked the case, we found it packed with six $40 bottles instead of the six $70 bottles we paid for. Initially, the staff didn't believe us, but they resolved the issue after we showed the receipt. (Mind you, if he hadn't checked we'd have driven off about $180 short with no proof to make it right.) It was likely a mistake, but be sure to double-check your order.“

“OH WOW! I didn't think this area would have any good Spanish food lol. This Salvadorian food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! All made fresh, juicy, amazingly seasoned. We only come to the area once a year and this is going to be our go to spot for now on.“

“I've been here a bunch of times, and it's always been great. I usually give visitors to LI a tour of the North Fork, and this is one of the stops.I had the lamb burger on my most recent visit, and it was cooked very well - still juicy! There was a great daily special of burger and beer for fair price. The service is always friendly and attentive.“

“The lunch options were predominantly sandwiches, which I found to be both restrictive in choice. Moreover, I noticed that the menu leaned heavily towards carb-heavy dishes, making it challenging to find lighter options. Despite this, the food was great and the establishment exudes a distinct charm that sets it apart from others in the area. Service was commendable, adding to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, while there are some drawbacks, I would still recommend giving it a try for its unique atmosphere and enjoyable food.“
“This is such a cozy little brewery that it feels more like a boutique than brewery. They even have a small menu of fancy sounding cocktails, which appear to change frequently and based on holidays. The fun little space does have some outdoor seating, but it was a bit chilly during our visit, so we stayed inside chatting with one of the most genuine beertenders we've ever met.Our favorite beer of the visit was the North Shore Red Ale, and the Sexy MF was a close runner up.I wouldn't recommend large groups here, but they can certainly accommodate a few parties of 6 without overwhelming the taproom.“

“Delicious! We like to explore the east end in the off season. Plentiful hiking and no crowds. We popped in right before a traditional dinner time and were treated like we were regulars. Started off with pillowy garlic knots that were extra garlicky. Our meals were top notch: huge portions of salmon that were perfectly cooked. Our son had spaghetti topped with huge meatballs. Almost too stuffed for dessert but we couldn't pass up the chocolate chip cookies we saw when we walked in. Couldn't have been happier with a nice end cap to the weekend.“

“Wow! You are greeted by friendly staff, and the brick oven pizza is out of this world! The dining area is small, but weather permitting, there is outdoor seating available. If you have to wait, it is definitely worth it! Nonna's oven fired meatballs are to die for! Make sure you ask for extra bread to sop up the tasty sauce. There is a wide variety of specialty pizzas to choose from. You can even create your own. Don't forget to check out their Rolling In Dough pizza truck for your next event! It is worth every penny! Enjoy!“

“We love the spot. The pizza is delicious, I had the mushroom gorgonzola for the first time and it was phenomenal. Super fresh and made the order. The garlic bread is wicked. AND the steak was SO GOOD! Its all good. Everything I’ve had here is great.“
“The atmosphere was classy. We enjoyed the wine and Charcuterie. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.“
“Nice winery in Long Island. Each part of the winery has its own character, and they have different seating arrangements for groups of 4-8. The wines & charcuterie boards are on the pricey side. We got the White wine tasting menu. It was 38$ and we got to taste 9 different wines. They were all quite good. The service was Aok. The negatives were the porta potty situation and the cash only tips. They should get real bathrooms and not many people have cash with them. Overall it was a good experience.“
“Can’t say enough about Sannino Vineyard, Lisa and Anthony were very welcoming and friendly. The room is exquisite and perfectly suited for a special weekend! The breakfast was amazing and the wine is delicious, some of the best reds we’ve had on Long Island! Sailor, the puppy, was a delight! We signed up for membership after our first visit and will be returning soon. Thanks Sannino!“
“Been buying their white wine for many years now. Very laid back place off the main road. A road very less travelled. Ambiance is very rustic. Not much going on except the vines, a few outdoor tables, and lots of summer sun. I saw some goats in the distance. The German style white wines are by far the best white wines on the island. The Sauvignon Blanc is pretty good too. Not much to munch on. Service is very friendly. A great place for a summer / fall family picnic.“

“The food at GoodFood is not good, it's great! It is a really great little "healthy food option" cafe with a small, solid menu of things as well as some fun empanada combos and a counter of quick homemade salads, sides, and more. It is a great breakfast or lunch option to take to go or to eat there (there are a few small tables inside and outside). My personal favorite is the power bowl (add the salmon)! The ingredients are all fresh - sometimes it can take a little bit for the food to come out so if you are ordering to go I would suggest using their easy online ordering tool on their website. It is worth the wait though since everything is fresh and refreshing.“
“A chill albeit noisy scene. I'm sorry I didn't get to try the milk stout that was on tap a month ago. I tasted the Bramble Paradise but ended up getting a can of the Peach Convocations, should have stuck with the Bramble. My dad's Lightwork Lager was mild and generally easy drinking, but not remarkable. If I'm in the area again I would definitely return to try the pretzel.“

“What a delightful find in East Marion - worth the side trip if you're in Greenport or Orient. The mouth-watering cabinet of Greek desserts next to the case of gelato being fresh churned is a big temptation. But the appetizers and main courses are worth the trip as well. The hummus was excellent as was the Spanokopita and Falafel burger. Plenty of seating inside and out.Kid-friendliness: Lots of outdoor seating with room for kids to be kids“

“Ospreys Dominion. Where do you begin! I went open with an open mind as I had my first experience via a GROUPON. Let me tell you; it's a 5/5 for me! I was immediately greeted by Mrs. Joy, she showed me how to redeem my Groupon selection; and I was singled out for choosing a Groupon voucher for my wine tasting. Michelle and Nancy also were welcoming of me and my girlfriend's wine tasting venture and recommended their favorites as well as what to expect with our selections. They serve you 5 variations of your choosing i.e. Merlots, Rieslings, and Roses'. The grounds were therapeutic. The lawn has a special green to it reminding you are in a special place. Parking is plentiful, and a band played as you take in the sites of the vineyard after your wine tasting experience. I had a great time and hopefully you do too if you happen to stroll upon this vineyard!“
