“Friendly, basic, old-school luncheonette. Prompt service, good prices, decent food. Bacon was not freshly cooked; home fries were very tasty. Omelette was good. Didn’t offer a refill on the coffee.
Kid-friendliness: Good place for kids. Sundaes and ice creams.“

“Encanto Crepes & Cafe is the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The crepes are delicious, there are a lot to choose from and although I haven’t tried them all yet, the crepes I have tried are the best. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The cafe is always clean and inviting and I should also mention the coffee, it’s amazing. This is a place to go if you’re not sure what you want to eat, you’re guaranteed to be satisfied. If you order one crepe and then want another, just go to the counter and order another, they will bring it to your table, no judgment here. Encanto, best cafe, give it a try you won’t regret it 🙌“

“While visiting Greenport, I stumbled upon this charming café and instantly fell in love. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich paired with a cinnamon bun became my go-to breakfast combo, and the coffee? Absolutely amazing.. smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced.
But let’s talk about their croissants! I tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it was next-level. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, it was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside... a total game-changer. Do not miss this one; it’s seriously special.
The staff was warm and friendly, and the cozy decor made it feel so inviting. I noticed they had donuts, but they were sold out when I visited. (Apparently, they make a limited batch each day, so getting there early is key!) It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure—hard to leave and even harder to forget. If you’re in Greenport, this café is a must-visit!“

“So happy we stumbled upon this place! Very funky vibe with an incredible variety in the menu. Our party of five had falafel, ramen, penne ala vodka, a Phillipine-style vegetable panini, and spaghetti with butter. We are pescatarian and we’re excited at all the choices. The service was friendly and there was no wait, and nice big portions. Absolutely coming back! Highly recommended
Vegetarian options: So many!“

“This food is absolutely amazing and I love to go here anytime I do. The bread pudding has to be my favorite thing here, and the smoothies are also delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! While service is a little slow, the immaculate food makes up for it!“

“Wonderful place to eat off the beaten path. The food was delicious. And the server was friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. He recommended the proper portions for sharing instead of maximizing the bill and his tip. The water views were spectacular. And the atmosphere was relaxed. I would certainly going there again.“

“Cute little harbor side cafe/grab and go store. The bakery items are fresh and you can see the staff constantly putting out new things from the kitchen. It was a little chaotic in there, super busy, with tons of people waiting for their food, but the food came out quickly. You can grab your order and sit at the outdoor deck which was right on the harbor. The table and chairs are bare bones. You clean your own tables and there’s no service out there. The highlight was the peach tart tartin - which is huge and meant for 2 (or 3) and it was delicious flaky crust and the fruit was caramelized to perfection“

“The first time I tried the pretzel croissant I became addicted! All of their croissants are amazing... Their coffee is awesome too! So glad it opened in Southold. Lately, they've been making the pretzel croissants into egg sandwich which I'm sure is delicious too, but I prefer to ask for it alone :) Whoever is making these croissants, thank you Chef!!!!“
