“Camper Coffee is by far my favorite spot to grab a coffee before taking a walk through downtown Madison and along the coast. The cozy camper setup gives such a fun vibe, and their coffee is the best around! Their homemade syrups add just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the coffee’s quality flavor. Matt and Ryan, the owners, are super friendly and passionate people who truly love what they do, and you can feel that in every conversation and cup. I cannot recommend them enough!“

“Very enjoyable outside setting at Belle Vie! Just lovely. From the friendly staff whom immediacy greeted us upon arrival to tbe owner who made a special trip outdoors after personally cooking our crepes in the kitchen. We tried their chicken pesto crepe w/ tomato and spinach- absolutely delicious ! And also the salmon, cream cheese, tomato, caper, red onion crepe. Yum! We also sampled their lattes both hot and cold brew and a marvelous bacon cheddar biscuit warmed up and buttered ! They have sweet crepes as well and many non- crepe options. This Cafe will not disappoint! A beautiful menu with many selections of fresh, health conscious choices as well as some slightly more indulgent pasterie options! “The atmosphere is a dive and diner, with a long bar and a row of small tables, with some outdoor seating. The service is measured by the fact that there may be two people running this place, with the talented chef pumping out excellent food to order. The frittatas are amazing, but the stand out dish is the clam hash. Two of us shared a frittata, clam hash, and an excellent fruit filled crepe and were stuffed for the rest of the day. This place is one of those gems to be discovered by travelers and frequented by locals.“

“I work close by so I am at Cilantro several times a week... and as a self-proclaimed "foodie" I highly recommend this local hot spot for delicious coffee, super tasty chicken salad, raspberry/almond scones, "yoga" cookies, matcha cookies & their peanut butter/ coconut bites! I also frequently get their matcha or golden milk lattes, both are masterfully made & delicious either hot or cold!! I usually see Helen, but everyone there is also as friendly as she is and on-point with my order. Their in-store grocery treats and savory goodies are a delightful hand-picked selection that reminds regulars & travelers why they're a favorite local business & one to support and visit often!!“

“What a welcome addition to Guilford Center! I've been hoping for a great European-style cafe with character to hang out in, Ciao Angie absolutely delivers.

The interior is very clean, roomy, and exceptionally well-lit, surrounded by large windows letting in natural light. So far, the hours have been very convenient, providing breakfast, lunch, or late afternoon bite options until 5pm. The tables are large enough to share with a small group or just spend a few hours working on comfortably with a laptop. There is a covered outdoor patio as well, perfect for those of us with energetic children.

They offer a full espresso-based coffee bar and serve 4 Jacks cold brew as well. The home baked cornettos (an Italian spin on croissants) are nice. There are breakfast/brunch options available until 11am, with the clear star of the show being their polenta bowl, served with a sunny side up egg, pancetta, and arugula. Fantastic. For cafe-haunters who extend their stay past noon, there are a multitude of panini sandwich options, as well as gelato for an afternoon pick-me-up.

To get there, the most convenient location is the lot behind the front row of Whitfield street shops, or simply cross over from the Green and slip through the walkway between Prime on Whitfield and South Lane Bistro.“
