“Pretty cool little place in the heart of town. Sat at the bar and watched the tennis match. Had a lobster slider, which was buttery and delicious. Cheesburger with fries. Washed it down with a Stella and capped off the night with a Jameson. It's definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. The wait staff and bartenders were friendly and efficient. I try to come this way once a year from Texas and will definitely revisit when I am back. Thank you, Gig Shack.“
“We had a great meal here last night. We enjoyed the kale salad, the fluke sashimi and the shrimp tacos. All were prepared really creatively with excellent ingredients. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a good meal. Also had a really great cocktail. We were in Montauk for the weekend, and this was our first time to this restaurant. We will definitely come again. Take a look at the menu on the restaurant's website because the one on OpenTable was not accurate. Prices were lower at the restaurant website and were the accurate ones.“
“Wow! Wow! Wow! The food was fabulous!! The lobster roll was out of this world! It's simple! Freshest of lobster and butter on a roll! The lobster is cooked perfectly!! You can't beat it. Take your food over to the devil to enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean!“
“We are lucky enough to have a family home in Montauk & have been coming for the past 15 years. Our usual taco joint is closed on Tuesday, so we were on the hunt for another. This place is right around the corner from our house, never eaten there before tonight and to be honest, never even noticed it. Their food is outstanding. Very fresh, perfect quantities and all around a great experience. I’ll never go back to the other place. I really recommend. I had the shrimp tacos and my wife had the chicken burritos.“
“Have not eaten here-just went in for drinks. Met the owners-very nice people and I wish them well. I asked around about the food and people were enjoying their meals. If you've been to the old sail inn you feel like you're on another planet. They did a nice job with the place.“
“Solid vibe in Montauk. This is definitely the spot if you're looking for an elevated experience in Montauk. The amenities are wonderful and it's the type of place you can quite literally spend the entire day comfortably. It's also pet friendly which is everything for a person like me who always travels with their dog.“
“I love visiting Tauk's when I'm in town! The best thing on the menu is their lobster grilled cheese on Texas toast which rivals all of the lobster rolls nearby. They also have local beer on tap and will have live music playing from time to time.“
“My friend and I stopped by at the George's Lighthouse Cafe for an early lunch. It's a pleasant eatery with a bar, food station and a small shopping store inside as well as outdoor seats.I enjoyed a few Montauk draft beer, which was about $8 USD. They also had a great beach cocktail selection.I was debating if I should get the lobster taco or the fried shrimps. I'd ended up having the fried shrimp tacos with lots of delicious French fries. Food was a bit pricey here.We ended our stay here by enjoying the view of the lighthouse and Atlantic Ocean by sitting outside. I heard visiting here in the evening and watching the sunset is mind blowing.I totally recommend this place since the restaurants and bars are a bit away from Montauk Point Lighthouse. The bartenders and the chefs were cheerful and pleasant. I'm looking forward to visit again in the warmer months.“
“Navy Beach is the perfect venue for a micro wedding! I had the honor of capturing an October wedding there this past year and it was perfect. From bridal portraits during sunset at the beach, to the fun reception and dance floor by the bar, it was exactly what my couple envisioned for their big day! Highly recommend it there.@lorettarodriguezco“
“Always a reliable choice in Montauk. The food and service never disappoint. During the busy season we'll usually eat at the fancier places in town but we try to stop at The Shagwong once during our visit for dinner or lunch. Off season, on a 25 degree January day like today, we were very happy that the Shagwong is a reliable year round choice.“
“Came here for a late brekkie and as promised, there was a line But it was well worth it - the staff were accommodating & so friendly! Allowed us use the counter instead of waiting for a table! Had the highly raved egg sandwich & Classic Breakfast and both were egg-cellent! (Sorry had to!) Will definitely revisit :)“
