“We had a lovely meal at Gig Shack! You’re definitely paying for the atmosphere. I was a bit frustrated to be paying $28 for a burger and waffle fries, only to have normal fries come out. I asked our waiter and he said they were out of waffle fries. I wouldn’t have minded too much if he had let us know, it just was a bit odd to have our meal slightly downgraded with no notice. Nice music, though, and what we got was good. Wish I had waffle fries, though.“

“Great breakfast spot, highly recommend the home fries and French toast… went twice during my stay and had Phillip/Danny as waiters, both were great and the owner made sure we were seated almost immediately despite it being crowded (my girlfriend and I are on the younger side and I noticed it effects our service at some nicer places on vacation)…. A lot of the restaurants in Montauk cater towards people with money but this place is great for normal people… spent about $50 (including tip) both times and got great service/food….“

“Dinner vibes here are immaculate. Feels like you’re at a wedding venue in Europe. Very picturesque and cozy. The scallops with truffle risotto were good but I’d be down to try something else next time I come. Service was also impeccable“

“Wonderful bar or tavern with some excelled pub grub. I had the scallop sandwich. Delicious. Others in the group had the open tuna sandwich and a pair of hearty looking salads.
I liked it so much that we came back the following day for lunch, but they’re closed on Mondays. In hope to come again one day.“

“Cool old school atmosphere. Old man at the counter is just the sweetest. Food is very.....meh. It was all cooked to order which is nice. Fried chicken was seasoned well but very dry. Everything else seemed like it came straight out of a freezer at Costco.

Service and ambiance saves the place. Next time im out ill give the chicken another try.“

El Taco Ole was an excellent option for our crew. The ordering process was easy, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the staff was great to work with.

“Finally.......good Brooklyn Pizza in Montauk!!! Thin crust, extremely fresh tasting tomatoes and great seasoning. I grew up on DiFara's in Brooklyn (Avenue J) and let me tell you...this is as close as it comes. Welcome to Montauk Fierro's !!!“

“The clam bar changed the menu again, no bang bang shrimp tacos, so I ordered the lobster tacos.. what a mistake. Look at the lobster meat we got for $44. All claw ends. I brought it back and got the shrimp instead. 🫤 the view and atmosphere is a good as ever. We love the sushi bar, but our parents wanted the old school clam bar experience ⭐️“
