Inlet Cafe offers stunning ocean and harbor views with a mellow vibe. The seafood is fresh and well-prepared, with notable dishes like seaweed salad, lobster bisque, fried calamari, fish/chips, salmon over quinoa/veggies, and scallops. The staff, made up of hardworking locals, provide great service and seem genuinely happy. Recent visitors enjoyed outdoor dining on the upper deck, especially on warm, sunny days, with perfect views right in the water. The lobster caprese salad was praised for having lots of lobster and being amazing, while the lobster roll was stuffed with lobster and prepared cold with mayo and celery, offering a flavorful experience. The broiled lobster, served with seafood breadcrumb stuffing and little shrimps, was described as very sweet and meaty. The view of the water and boats coming in and out is considered the best in Montauk. Service is friendly, with servers checking frequently and refilling water. Overall, the restaurant provides beautiful harbor and bay views, good seafood, and a relaxed atmosphere, making it a worthwhile destination.
