“Man, after a day hiking out east we were craving a slice. Luckily we were able to swing into the greatest little pizza place in Montauk. And it was a perfect pairing with some Montauk Brewing Company beers. The pepperoni square was absolutely delicious and we will be stopping here every time we are out at the end.”

“A small, well designed menu with a couple of tasty veggie/vegan options. Delicious cocktails, a little different to those you find on most other bar/restaurant menus. A welcoming, chilled and relaxed space with a modern twist.”

“Awesome brewery. I honestly expected it to be much larger since their beer is all over the island. The tap room is a little small for winter but no biggie. They have beers that are only available at the brewery, which is cool. It's definitely worth a stop in.”

“Had a wonderful late afternoon lunch on Saturday, April 14th. Suzanna was our waitress and she was very efficient and accommodating. We tried so many dishes its difficult to remember them all. New England clam chowder, fish and chips, scallops and tuna entrees, sushi and salads, buffalo cauliflower, endamame were among the favorites we thoroughly enjoyed. We would love to make it an annual destination.”

“We saw this place on our way somewhere else, and the food and the atmosphere made us change our plans – so glad we did! Such good food and coffee! We got to enjoy our food sitting outside either the winter sun, and it became one of the most favorite moments of our trip! The ladies are very nice and welcoming, too! Highly recommended ?”

“Went to Montauk with my fiance for a few days. Had dinner twice at the Gig Shack. The food and service were excellent. Next time we go to Montauk, we are definitely going back to 668 The Gig Shack!”

“This review is for one thing and takeout only. The fried chicken. If you have a large group you are trying to feed while visiting Montauk this is a great option to consider. Oh, and though I said one thing... the other add-on you will want to consider for the fried chicken is the mashed potatoes. Get as much as you need for whatever sized group you are and everyone will be happy.”

“Nice clean place with good service but quality of everything was low budget. Useless napkins that disintegrate, corn syrup in plastic tubs... Could do so much better.”

“We had a great meal here last night. We enjoyed the kale salad, the fluke sashimi and the shrimp tacos. All were prepared really creatively with excellent ingredients. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a good meal. Also had a really great cocktail. We were in Montauk for the weekend, and this was our first time to this restaurant. We will definitely come again. Take a look at the menu on the restaurant's website because the one on OpenTable was not accurate. Prices were lower at the restaurant website and were the accurate ones.”

“Wow! Wow! Wow! The food was fabulous!! The lobster roll was out of this world! It's simple! Freshest of lobster and butter on a roll! The lobster is cooked perfectly!! You can't beat it. Take your food over to the devil to enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean!”

“Every single year me and my family (and their friends) go here! Its so amazing. We leave the beach and walk here, eat, then walk back. The ONLY thing is that there arent enough tables which forces you to go to the taco place sit (outside). The lady working at the taco place told us we had to get up, even though no one was waiting. I know at happy bowls, there isnt enough space outside for more tables, so i fully understand. Overall amazing!!! 10/10”

“My favorite place! Open year round and affordable! Portion sizes are big, and food is delicious! All staff members are super friendly! The service is quick, even on the busiest of days. The meats they prepare change each day so you always have something new to try! May not be the best option for vegans, but if you’re just looking for some warm, comforting Latin food, this is the place!”
