“On a yacht delivery from Ft Lauderdale to P'Town. Stopped in for the night (late June 2023) and needed a good dinner. Saw this cute/unique restaurant on way to the typical fried seafood place down the road. Didn't care for the "attitude" and decided to come back to Rooted - so glad we did. Great food, smoked Old Fashion was beyond delicious, and our server Masha and bartender Sarah went above and beyond to make our dinner experience great. Small, only a few tables, which allows for the chef to cook the food to perfection. Highly recommended and will come back on next trip.”

“Fried chicken was amazing, legit some of the best I’ve ever had.It was quite packed/seemed a bit disorganized when we were there, so here’s a tip: go to the back to order the fried chicken / sides. Once they hand it to you, go check out at the front. You don’t need to wait in line to pay at the deli counter.”

“Great breakfast spot, highly recommend the home fries and French toast… went twice during my stay and had Phillip/Danny as waiters, both were great and the owner made sure we were seated almost immediately despite it being crowded (my girlfriend and I are on the younger side and I noticed it effects our service at some nicer places on vacation)…. A lot of the restaurants in Montauk cater towards people with money but this place is great for normal people… spent about $50 (including tip) both times and got great service/food….”

“I had my daughter and her fiancés Welcome Party the night before their wedding at Cap’s last weekend. I booked while Sammy was still owner. He graciously handed my party over to the new owner Amy as she took over the restaurant. While they all were doing the work for their opening, Amy worked with me and together we made the final plans for a party of about 107 people plus a few children!!! Food was fresh and delicious. “Visiting Montauk - found it online and been twice now. Just behind main street. Take out or eat casually on benches outside. Wide range of seafood options. Loving the Lobster Bisque and the Hooked House salad is a real must. Check it out - you will not be disappointed.”

El Taco Ole was an excellent option for our crew. The ordering process was easy, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the staff was great to work with.

“As a team of 30 working on-site in Montauk, coordinating meals for a large group can be a challenge, but Theresa made breakfast one of the easiest parts of our week. She was wonderful to work with, easy to communicate with, and incredibly accommodating throughout the ordering process.

We ordered 30 Sunshine Start bagels, and they were a huge hit with our crew. Everything was fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day before long hours on-site. We especially appreciated Theresa's attention to detail and willingness to accommodate team members with dietary restrictions, including gluten-free and dairy-free options.

“The food is fresh made every day . However, the prices are ridiculous . it was 3 .99 for a jelly donut croissant. it was very small. with tax over 4 $ a donut is hard. they are the only breakfast bakery in town so it's a bakery that is a monopolized rip off”

“So impressed with the service at Salivar’s - we took a chance and our big party rolled in with no reservation on a summer Friday night and Mimi at the front desk was so accommodating, offering us several options without batting an eye. We then were sat at a great table and our server Kelsey (along with several other staff members) juggled our chaos with grace. She was so sweet and totally made our night.
