“Very good popular sushi in Montauk. Prices are high, special rolls are around $20. Most people got two rolls so its effectively $40+ each. It is counter/take out service but they do expect you to tip 😑. Not really an indoor searing option aside from a few stools. Outside was nice. More of a lunch spot than dinner, but the other sushi options nearby was closed so unless I wanted to drive 40 minutes west this was the only one.”

“Fried chicken was amazing, legit some of the best I’ve ever had.It was quite packed/seemed a bit disorganized when we were there, so here’s a tip: go to the back to order the fried chicken / sides. Once they hand it to you, go check out at the front. You don’t need to wait in line to pay at the deli counter.”

“An absolutely wonderful breakfast experience! The avocado toast with eggs and fruit was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was just as outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with such a lovely atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your morning.
Great food, exceptional service, and a beautiful space—everything you could ask for in a breakfast spot. Highly recommend, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!”

“This was a fortuitous stop. We were early for dinner, and we wanted a view of the water. The view was not great, but the atmosphere of a crusty old tavern, a rustic setting, and great food won us over. Fantastic pumpkin caramel cheesecake for dessert.”

“We LOVE it here!!! The food is AMAZING and fresh, the staff are welcoming, and so polite! Tables are spread out and you feel 100% safe. Service is top notch and the owners are the NICEST people. We come out here every Summer and you bet we are here atleast once or twice on vacation. It’s that good! My daughter loves the shrimp and lobster. 🍤🦞”

“It was four of us, two adults two 16 year olds. We ordered, Texas Ruben burger, blue cheese burger, chicken tacos and chicken Cesar salad.
Burgers were great! Fries were warm more on the cold side. Salad was good, good amount of chicken. Chicken tacos come with 3. It’s literally just tacos no rice no sides nothing, a little disappointing.
Prices were reasonable for the area for sure. Shirley temple tasted gross so don’t get that. Moonshine drink was ok, lots of ice so it watered down quick and for $16, that’s crazy.
Service was slow once we finally our food. Felt a little forgotten about, when our food took over 20 minutes to get to us. I guess it explains the cooler temps.
Overall it was a good easy spot that didn’t require a reservation or cost $200.”

“Food is delicious and affordable. This place is great! Different meats prepared daily, serving breakfast and lunch. My boyfriend and I stop here anytime we’re stumped on what to eat. Staff are so nice and efficient! This place doesn’t experience the crowds that other places do in Montauk during the summer, which I selfishly love!”

“Excellent service and delicious breakfast. We ate here three time during our stay in Montauk. The waiter that has the tattoos is amazing. Didn’t get his name but he was great. Fast and efficient service. They do take credit cards with a fee. If you want to tip it needs to be cash. The restaurant gets very loud when it gets busy.”

“Felt so lucky stumbling upon this cafe that has so many vegan options. We were just in the mood for coffee so I didn’t get any food the first time around but I came back for the Cajun tofu wrap and it was so much better than I thought. I appreciate that this spot has both vegan and non-vegan options so you don’t have to drag your friends somewhere where they have to sacrifice. We also posted up for a while and worked. The WiFi was very good. Great outdoor area. Highly recommend”

“I had my daughter and her fiancés Welcome Party the night before their wedding at Cap’s last weekend. I booked while Sammy was still owner. He graciously handed my party over to the new owner Amy as she took over the restaurant. While they all were doing the work for their opening, Amy worked with me and together we made the final plans for a party of about 107 people plus a few children!!! Food was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was very nice. Thank You for a memorable night. Every one enjoyed the night.”

“Informal and Great place for any meal... innovative dishes (I had the sausage and shrimp gumbo). You can travel anywhere in the world but the view out to the water and past the coast guard station is as beautiful as any place anywhere.”

“The atmosphere is seaside casual. An open floor plan exists with a nice bar on one side. It’s airy inside with high ceilings. The food and service is always great. The specials are always a delight. Prices are moderate and fair. Portions are generous.”

Even though I placed a large order of around 25 coffees, they stayed calm, organized, and friendly throughout the whole process. Don’t order through Seamless, you might have an issue. But delivery apps are total scams in the first place, so I put it on them. Good luck contacting Seamless, direct your anger towards the restaurant. Typical!”

“Visiting Montauk - found it online and been twice now. Just behind main street. Take out or eat casually on benches outside. Wide range of seafood options. Loving the Lobster Bisque and the Hooked House salad is a real must. Check it out - you will not be disappointed.”

“I've Been here twice now, but have seen and sampled a variety of the menu. They are making the space itself work, it definitely isn't an ideal set up and during inclement weather, seating can be a challenge. They have upstairs seating, but that feels a bit dodgy and the ventilation isn't great up there. The food is all good, and fresh, but it is on the pricier side for a taco place.”
