“On a yacht delivery from Ft Lauderdale to P'Town. Stopped in for the night (late June 2023) and needed a good dinner. Saw this cute/unique restaurant on way to the typical fried seafood place down the road. Didn't care for the "attitude" and decided to come back to Rooted - so glad we did. Great food, smoked Old Fashion was beyond delicious, and our server Masha and bartender Sarah went above and beyond to make our dinner experience great. Small, only a few tables, which allows for the chef to cook the food to perfection. Highly recommended and will come back on next trip.”

“The atmosphere is seaside casual. An open floor plan exists with a nice bar on one side. It’s airy inside with high ceilings. The food and service is always great. The specials are always a delight. Prices are moderate and fair. Portions are generous.”

“I had my daughter and her fiancés Welcome Party the night before their wedding at Cap’s last weekend. I booked while Sammy was still owner. He graciously handed my party over to the new owner Amy as she took over the restaurant. While they all were doing the work for their opening, Amy worked with me and together we made the final plans for a party of about 107 people plus a few children!!! Food was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was very nice. Thank You for a memorable night. Every one enjoyed the night.”

“Such a lovely venue. This charming yacht club offers a respite from the more heavily touristed areas of Long Island and has a more local feel. The staff were very welcoming and the chef was brilliant too. The restaurant has been recommended to us by Viking Fleet, as somewhere to bring our catch for cooking. We had caught around 5 good sized Porgies and a couple of Sea Bass. The chef turned these into dishes from around the world. Tempura, fish tacos, bang bang salad and a Chinese style rice dish.
Highly recommend.”

“The cutest little “grocery” store & cafe. It’s on the main drag in Montauk. They have plant based / vegan options. A bathroom, coffee (and non-vegan options for those who want eggs or fish). If you’re looking for a nicer vibe there are other more fancier spots, but for a nice meal, amazing service, and a comfy place to sit, this spot is great.”

“Cool old school atmosphere. Old man at the counter is just the sweetest. Food is very.....meh. It was all cooked to order which is nice. Fried chicken was seasoned well but very dry. Everything else seemed like it came straight out of a freezer at Costco.

Service and ambiance saves the place. Next time im out ill give the chicken another try.”

I bought a bag of the Flagstaff signature brew coffee beans for back at the campsite. I was told it was just roasted days ago. They ground it up for me. No seating inside. The shop is mostly for retail clothing.”

“The food is fresh made every day . However, the prices are ridiculous . it was 3 .99 for a jelly donut croissant. it was very small. with tax over 4 $ a donut is hard. they are the only breakfast bakery in town so it's a bakery that is a monopolized rip off”
