“Wow that bao bun is something to die for! Had a very nice lunch at Kumiso. Service was great and the restaurant is kind of tucked down the alley way making it nice and shaded. The miso soup was a little slimy for my liking but the flavor was really good. Then the bao bun and the curry dumpling was incredible! So much good flavor going on in both of them. I also had the Mario roll which was a solid sushi roll. Would definitely come back.“

“@fred terry made this spot on the stretch what it is today. @gingerbreadUniversity, Gingerbread Fred, Fred Terry, My ol' boss at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Ave in Riverhead, NY... This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.“

“Rosie’s is usually my go-to stop when leaving Montauk in the morning. Good coffee and probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve had. I get one every time! We’ll usually grab whatever other pastries they have too, and everything is always fresh and tasty.“

“Great for vegetarians and vegans. It was really good. It’s tiny inside. This is like a great quality Mexican inspired diner. I will totally go again. It’s fast paced inside, and they are on it.
I had one of the best vegetarian meals I’ve had in a long time. They do a lot of take out orders, I might do that next time because they are very busy and I don’t want to be rushed to finish my meal.
Vegetarian options: Great for vegetarians and vegans!!“

“I absolutely love this place! I get so excited knowing they reopen every year, and when they’re closed for the winter, I honestly don’t hesitate to make the drive to one of their other locations, whether it’s Woodbury, Plainview, or Roslyn.
So if you’re someone who spends the summer at your home in the Hamptons and then heads back west for the rest of the year, you can always visit one of their other locations and continue enjoying the same amazing food.
The drive is completely worth it. The food is incredibly fresh, healthy, filling, and genuinely delicious. It’s one of those places where you can enjoy a satisfying meal without feeling heavy or bloated afterward.
Everything is consistently exceptional, and if you’re looking for something that tastes amazing while still being a healthier option, this is absolutely the place to go. I would recommend it 1,001 times out of 10!“

The kindest female was at the register. She gave me a coupon for when I visit the Astor Place store. I wish I knew her name. She was so lovely, welcoming, and kind.
