“We came across this place on Google looking for a place to eat. I am so glad we stopped here for dinner. The food was so delicious and the drinks. Our waitress was very friendly and constantly checking on us! Desserts were equally as delicious. I loved the view from our seats.“

“I’ve driven by multiple times and finally had a chance to stop in for an early dinner. Upon entering the hostess was very pleasant and took me to the front patio area. I also immediately recognized the pomodoro and garlic smell that is distinctive of high end Italian restaurants. The waiter was just as pleasant and recognized that I was from out of town ( must have seen my plates on my car ). The bread and smoky EVOO was a great touch. There were multiple menu items I wanted to try but decided that this visit would be the old faithful Chicken Parm. It absolutely did not disappoint. Arrived perfectly prepared from the kitchen and as accompanied by home made spaghetti. One of the best prepared chicken parms I’ve had on the East coast. Skipped dessert but will be back to try more! “Friendly staff, helpful with menu questions.Great parking availablity.Had a Doppio Con pana, while they weren't sure how to make it, they had no problem asking, and executing perfectly ( it's just a fancy way to say 2 shots w whip cream).Had the Basic grilled cheese, was veeeerrrry good. Big, crispy, gooey delicious-ness that is served with just enough tomato bisque to dip and enjoy. The atmosphere is nice, some people were there working on their laptops, others meeting friends for lunch. The desserts looked abs decadent, I'm looking forward to going back and trying the baklava. “A nice little coffee house in the middle of downtown! The food is either quite good, or a bit off - I've had mixed results over the years. I recommend the breakfast burrito when they offer it here, though I do not suggest the homefires, they're bland. The coffee is good here.!Service here is good - the atmosphere is fantastic.Parking: Parking is limited - there's a very small lot here. You may have to street park.“

“I was so excited to see vegan listings on the website but unfortunately they did not have any vegan ice cream. My husband is not vegan and was able to get some and said that it was good but a bit expensive. Cash only and an ATM on site. Parking lot is a good size. Hopefully they will have vegan options at aome point when we are in the area again!“

“We had a wonderful experience. Farm to table fresh. The shrimp and crabmeat chowder was the best we have ever had. Made with fresh cream and butter and lots of shrimp and real sweet crabmeat. (Many places add whitefish but this was all wonderful crabmeat). The flatbread and the coconut curry dish were also spectacular and we also enjoyed them for lunch the next day. It was nice and slow and relaxed, with a wonderful atmosphere and nice music. Very pleasant servers and atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back!“

“We were visiting Connecticut for the weekend. Found The Yolk Cafe close to the hotel, we walked in, received the most welcoming morning from the owner Jane and her daughter. We ordered some specials. Jane has the best personality, she was sending us samples and making jokes the whole time. We returned Sunday before heading home for another great breakfast! When leaving Jane gave us all a hug like we've known each other for years! Until we see each other again! We will be returning again in July!Thank you to the staff and Jane for making us feel so welcome! ?“

“I loved this place! The best burger I have had in a while, bartender was knowledgeable, friendly and made delicious drinks. The atmosphere was so fun and inviting. Definitely a great place to just hang out. I was just visiting so sadly I don't know when I will be back but I have been craving it since it had it!“

“The Mexican food here is Top quality and the best prices I've ever seen for gourmet Taco places in all of Connecticut, it's cheaper and better than Moe's and all the others out there, this place is spot on with the freshest ingredients and if you call in its done by the time you there and you will be happy with the total price $4 a Fat Taco $ 8 for Monster burritos etc. Gotta get down here people“
