“This was our 3rd visit to Gran Arso, and it is the third wonderful time that we immensely enjoyed our meals. The chef is truly talented, with many of the dishes pairing different ingredients that one would be surprised that would go so well together. It is truly one of our very top places that we have experienced. Previously we have had top notch servers. This time we were a little disappointed, however. She was slow to bring out our drink reorder (so much so that we ended up cancelling). She also made us feel that we were being rushed to get us out of the restaurant. Additionally, while well informed about the menu items, she did not directly answers some simple questions appropriately. (example: I asked her how the duck breast was prepared, wanting to know what temperature to expect the the meat to be served. She answered something like “perfectly”). We were not impressed! Other than our server, we had a wonderful experience, and I would HIGHLY recommend Grano Arso to anyone who is in this area!“

“Honestly originally came here thinking it was a typical tavern. Left having one of the best food experiences I have ever had! The food was amazing and so perfectly prepared I have been back countless times since and am always recommending them to friends and family. “Came here for the first time today. I've been wanting to try for awhile. Amazing place. Love the menu! So many different things to choose from. Tons of veggie options. I had a veggie melt with broccoli, eggplant, onions, sundried tomatoes and cheese. It was amazing! If you haven't been, great eats for breakfast and lunch!“

“Best Pho in all of Madison CT. It is extremely delicious and I haven’t been able to find a place that is as welcoming and warm as it is here. The service is awesome and the people are there are always so sweet and great! Love to how the Pho with Beef, always makes my day better! “My favorite shop on Main Street. Soft serve Flavors are delicious and they rotate them so always something new to try. Always a tough decision on toppings because so many to choose from. And if I only want a small serving that’s all I can get. I control my serving size. Totally love their quality soft serve, the cleanliness of the shop and the fabulous staff.“

“I’ve been thinking about Jia Mei’s dry cooked food. Today I tried the 5 Spice prawns which was served of a bed of warm lettuce, red peppers, and fresh sliced chilis. It was delicious, flavorful, colorful, and spicy. This cooking technique is a style of Chinese cooking which is hard to find on the shoreline. Yum!“

“Perfect weather to sit on the patio. Our waitress, Molly, was terrific as she was able to commandeer a blender to get 3 of our party a pina colada. Surf & turf specials were outstanding as was the tropical lobster roll. Only down side was the grilled octopus appetizer special was super salty(the olives) and pretty light on the octopus as there were a lot more olives and fava beans. A beautiful spot for special occasion meals for sure, not inexpensive but what isn't these days. We will definitely return“
