Great service.
Amazing seafood.
Best variety in the area
I bought 4 lobsters and when I got home (10 mins later) 2 of them were dead!!!! When I took them back the guy tried to tell me 1 was still alive. So you’re trying to tell me it’s ok to sell 1 dead lobster??? Absolutely not!!!! And believe me they were both dead!!!!
Delicious fresh seafood. Also salads and a bit of groceries. Friendly staff!
Had a pickup order for 530. Wasnt ready till 600. When we got home 2 of the 5 orders were missing. Called and after about five minutes the missing order were found. Went back to pick up the missing orders. Instead of giving us fresh order (fried calamari) we were given the same order that had now been sitting for about an hour. Was cold. Fried calamari should not be served cold.
This used to be a great seafood shop with fresh seafood. The last couple of times I've been here I had to throw away my family's dinner. Rotten stinky clams two times in a row now. I'll never go back!
The seafood is great, however you can see that division between the staff , manger is brain wash by one of the old staff , the lady behaves like a manager and she is dead she is from my country and she doesn't even speak english we as me .
I do not post this review lightly as I like to support local business and I'd heard positive things before visiting. But it was very disappointing. I visited on a Friday, which is normally the best day to buy fish Out East as they get fresh stuff for the weekend. That was not the case. Even the tuna and swordfish -- which are brought in literally a few miles away -- were not fresh as all. The swordfish was beginning to smell and had the mealy texture of several day old fish. We bought a dozen oysters, of which only seven were edible. One was rank even before opening, two were yellow slimy and clearly dead, and two were fused together so unable to even be opened. Please see the attached photo lest you think I'm exaggerating. The inclusion of the fused oysters is particularly disappointing. Obviously these were not usable but were included anyway. It would be one thing if we'd gotten several dozen and these two snuck by. But when you're counting out only 12, either you don't know what you are doing, or you just don't care. With several other great options in the area, we won't be going back.
Freshest fish around and a great selection of local fish as well as from other locations.
I am happy with the consistently fine quality and freshness of the fish I buy here. The prepared foods are also great.
Fantastic selection! Clam pies (a hyper-local). Possibly the best lobster bisque I've ever had!

It’s just not the same under new ownership. Three times we’ve bought whole fish, which has smelled absolutely rancid in under 24 hours after squeezing lemon all over it and stuffing it with herbs to marinate. When you go in to the shop and even if you’re only looking for seafood, make a point to look at the produce…it’s on the cusp of being rotten. What a shame.
As others have said, it’s not the same. Not even close. Every single order I call in is messed up and when I complain, they’re mad at me like I did something wrong. There are too many seafood shops out here to deal with this nonsense any more. They’ve lost a very good (like, VERY good), very long-time customer. Do not order from there if your meal is dependent on it because I guarantee it wont be what it should be.
The largest and most tasteless oysters i ever had. Plus 4% surcharge for using a credit card. Who carries around that much cash?
This is a sad review to leave since we’ve loved Stuart’s for years. The new owners have just raised prices to where it’s crazy, steamers are $12 or more a pound? I can get two pounds of steamers in a restaurant for less than it would cost me to cook them myself. We’ll have to start shopping somewhere else for seafood.
The best crab cakes are here!
