An institution. Been going for years - can't wait to go back
Always a great experience with very talented musicians showcased on the stage. You never know who will show up.
racist bouncers up charging as soon as you walk in they were calling us very innappropriate names
Worst place ever!
It's great to spend a few days in East Hampton and be able to visit talkhouse,
If you want to have a good time this is the place!!
We came specifically for karaoke and enjoyed the vibes when we came. We were first in line for the list to request our song and were super excited since we were coming from out of town. My friends and I weren't initially called up to sing and that was fine. It's karaoke, it happens. A long wait isn't unnatural but we were still the first of 20 people. However, the longer we waited the more puzzled we became. There was a couple that was accidentally called up twice back to back and the host, an older gentleman, said that everyone deserved a turn. No repeats until we get through the queue. It is now 4 hours later where not one, not two, but seven groups, were constantly going multiple times when we couldn't go up once. My friend literally had to ask multiple times on her behalf (and other did as well) as to when she was going to be able to sing. She was finally seen at 1:00AM while me and another friend of ours didn't get to sing at all. Meanwhile, I can count at least 4 individuals that went more than 3 times. We came in at 10:00PM (before karaoke even started) and multiple favorites were able to sing before other paying patrons. The host did not stand by his policy for the people he favored, and even allowed a drunk patron that refused to get off the stage to stay there while another group of women were singing and instead of enforcing his limit of how many people can be onstage, he allowed said group of women to be uncomfortable and then proceeded to give the man the mic for the next song. It was super disappointing having to stay there from 10:00PM to almost 2:00AM to not do what we set out to do. I'm not saying I wouldn't come back, but Mr. Wannabe Back In Your Prime When You Were Still Relevant, do better.
(Oh and p.s., the drunk man proceeded to sing a song that dropped the n word, not get reprimanded, and then proceeded to approach me like I was his nigger??♀️)
Best place to see a show in an intimate venue. Always great musicians on the schedule. Raw. Awesome.
Mad Fun
Awesome place for drinks and live bands. Had a great time here.

Great place. Glenn Strange the band is phenominal
We were so excited to come based on the nice reviews that we had heard. However, upon getting to the establishment there was a male bouncer with long blonde hair who was so unbelievably rude and said “it must be hard to be poor”. I was taken a back and so insulted. He then continued to be rude to us as we were waiting. Not what I was expecting from what I thought was supposed to be a respectable establishment.
Excellent place
It has always been a great music venue.
I was in Talkhouse with my friends for karaoke and my friend and I got pushed off the stage by the bouncer. It was disgusting behaviour, he grabbed us and pushed us.
