Super cute coffee shop!! I got a breakfast wrap and it was really good and the baristas were really nice. The only thing that threw me off was the coffee was overpriced. Syrups are charged PER PUMP which I have never seen before so it would have basically cost me $3 extra to have my coffee to my liking and it was already $9. There are so many more small businesses and local shops, even starbucks unfortunately, that would be cheaper and im disappointed for that reason because everythig else was great! It was $20 for a wrap and small coffee.

Staff changed and the coffee has never been the same. It’s really a shame the coffee was amazing 2022. Always a funk and the oatmilk they use tastes like water. I really hope something changes soon.

I’m not typically someone who writes reviews but my husband and I have been looking for different coffee shops to go to around the island and I came across Anchor. After reading some negative reviews together we decided to try it out for ourselves. I must say I don’t agree with any of them. The staff was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was very nice, I’m not sure what some people meant by the vibe seeming “fake” but I definitely didn’t feel that way. They had pretty good food options for breakfast and lunch and an assortment of pastries as well. For the reviews about the owner, I didn’t talk to him myself but I heard him talking to staff and other customers and he seemed like a very normal dude. Overall I just wanted to say I don’t agree with the bad reviews..

Not Just great coffee made to perfection!!! I just had to sing about the best chai tea latte I have ever had. Also try their peanut butter cookies! Soooo good!!!! This place is a gem in Amityville!!! The people are super sweet as well!

I'll start with the service. The man behind the counter on February 10th was the least friendly barista I've met. My friends and I were from out of town. One of the things we like to do is grab a sticker for our computers and water bottles of the coffee shops we visit. The Anchor Coffee logo sticker was everywhere. On yogurt cups, coffee cups, and other various places around the store. When we asked him about getting a sticker , he paused and after a thought said "we don't have stickers." Which very clearly , they did. We should have just left at that point. Since he called a girl from the back to help us. I guess he didn't want to?? Anyway, the coffee was just ok. Nothing special. I'll go around the block to Brownstone's next time I'm in town.

I was so excited to try this coffee house until being so rudely encountered by one of your employees asking me to leave! I was embarrassed, appalled, and completely outraged by the worker who Got in my Face and asked me to leave! A customer followed me out and apologized at how sorry she felt for me! As a local, I value a sense of comfort & community in the village with a homey environment provided by a cozy coffee house. I hope something can be done and you recognize the disservice and rude approach I was given by YOUR place

Probably the best Latte I’ve ever had…it was a Mexican blend and made so perfectly. I also had the breakfast sandwich which was excellent. Don’t walk past Anchor Coffee, it’ll be your best coffee break!

I really wanted to support a local business, but I will not be returning. Besides the coffee being inconsistent, the owner of the store has terrible customer service skills. I never have encountered such a rude man in my life.

The latte I had here was so delicious that I am still thinking about it a few hours later (churro latte made with oat milk, if you must know). It was sweet but not cloying and very, very creamy. Their treats looked amazing but I am on my best behavior so I skipped them this time but would try in the future for sure. A good selection of scones, cookies, muffins, etc. They also had some fruit and yogurt cups available. Seating is limited but I was able to score a table to chat with a friend for a bit mid afternoon on a weekday. A nice alternative to sbux with some unique flavor options.

Have you ever had a cup of coffee that was so good that you sipped it and stared at the cup in amazement? This is the place to experience that! I stopped in in a weekday morning and picked up a breakfast sandwich and iced coffee. The counter person was warm and friendly, the person who made the sandwich was pleasant, the atmosphere is nice! This will definitely be my go to place on my two workdays in the village! Did I mention how amazing the coffee is?!
