I am not usually the guy who goes and raves on the internet about a place. But I have been to Carneys many times. Sometimes for a meal, sometimes to celebrate, even to celebrate the life of my daughter’s mother. Recently we had my daughter’s Confirmation dinner there. It was a small party originally supposed to be bigger but life gets in the way.
The food was outstanding, fresh and delicious. Pete and his staff were spectacular and didn’t take advantage of the fact we had some no shows.
I have nothing negative to say, please check out a jewel in Amityville. A little Irish hospitality, we will be back!

Stopped in about 2 weeks ago. Everything was delicious! Friendly service, food was served hot & in a timely manner. We got potato skins, a pretzel and shepherds pie. Clean restaurant. Took a little bit to get the check, but the waitress said they were down a staff member that evening. We'll definitely return!

I just had one of the best Cod dinners I've ever had at Carneys Irish Pub in Amityville,LI,NY. This place is my home away from home place. Excellent food and atmosphere. Live music is Devine. It's a must come.

Pete the owner came around at least 2 times after he originally came over and asked about Thanksgiving!

I first started going to Carney's in late 2022. That was when I learned that some of the patrons & some of the staff of Carney's takes a trip to Ireland every other year. I signed up & had an AMAZING time. After we returned, I made sure to visit Carney's for lunch. It was on that trip that I became great friends with Ally (head bartender). After returning, I found out that they have trivia every Tues night (now every other week). I still go to attempt to win 1st place! I became friendly with the regulars. Carney's has a family atmosphere. I ALWAYS feel welcomed when I enter Carney's. The food is fantastic!!! I think I make a new friend every time I go there. They have bands playing on the weekends & St. Patrick's Day is ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!! But, that doesn't stop the friendliness of the staff. The owner, Pete, always makes an appearance & goes around to everyone to say Hello to the regulars or Welcome to the first-timers. If you're looking for great food, great atmosphere & great people, then Carney's is the place for you!!
