The food here is amazing!!! The staff is very friendly. They really take pride in their food and it shows. You must try this place. You will not be disappointed. There more food than just the flyer. They also have fresh fruit smoothies and health drinks too

Well friends, here I am at the cutting edge of reviewing new unfound places, that might have been easily passed on by.. lol : ) Tucked into a strip of stores in Amitville, a sleepy old town that back in my great grans day was a big hit, are many stores that don't attract too much attention. Broadway is the towns main street and is in fact the south end of the busy Rt 110 corridor that changes into a village when a mile south of the southern parkway. Cruising by this morning, I noticed the old village bakery was not around, but there was La Milagrosa! hmm.. Inside the store was clean and they had fresh self serve cofffee, always a plus. Wondering what type of bakery it was.. it didn't seem to look too similar to the Columbian one's I have been ramping up on. lol Riccardo, welcomed me in, and informed us it was a South American bakery, inspired from El Salvador. He also said their coffee wasnt as good as in Columbia. lol Whose is? Well Jamaican Blue Mountain I suppose. But they do use Columbian here : ) I took a box to go of a variety of things I had never seen before, but all looked mild. I brought them to my mother to check out.. and she looked carefully, tried one... thought on it... and said.... "scones" lol.... Scones? "yea, they have the texture of scones" .... lol... I asked about the rest... she said one was like a cinnamon scone.. lol.... mind you they were square pieces cut.. All in all finding a place with some creative nuances to baking is definatley fun to do. When I was invited back to take a photo in the kitchen, the warm welcome made me begin to think I might like baking in there. LOL!! Something about a big empty kitchen is like a calling to bake!! Plus they need some apple pies in there. LOL It was clean, the people were friendly, the bakery was fresh, and I will try again (new items come out later in the afternoon) and maybe get to that fourth star.
