We stopped in for lunch after shopping. They had a beef stroganoff special came with a nice salad. It was really good. Beef was tender and the noodles cooked correctly. We were there over the weekend too but for breakfast. We had omelettes which were very good. Service fast.
Was looking for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't looking for fast food. Found the Amsterdam Diner and even though the parking lot looked pretty crowded, there was plenty of seating available. Lots of room inside. Took a few minutes to look through the entire menu. There are a lot of options and I may have to go back to try a few other things on the menu. Settled for the Jimmy Special Chicken Sandwich(?) - grilled chicken breast with bacon and cheese on rye, and fries....
After eating in what was rated as the 3rd best? restaurant in Amsterdam, we decided we would stick with a less risky proposition; a diner. This one was better than average. I had the chicken parm, which was good. My wife had ground steak with onions; she said it was also good. The server was nice. The place was clean. I can't complain about anything based on our one-time, evening visit.
