This is some serious good for the soul food. Got me fat and happy for an extraordinarily good price. Next time I'm in the area, most definitely will be back. The yellow rice was perfect and the bake chicken was falling off the bone. Ugh.
Stopped in after the Cooperstown Hall of Fame parade. Got chicken empanadas and beef empanadas to-go. Both were delicious. We wish we had ordered the shrimp empanadas too. Also got some plantains. Although both were very good, I liked the sweet plantains more than the fried. The restaurant was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.
We stopped here just to have a rest and some food … what a nice surprise: the buffet was amazing (so many savors!) and the owner was really kind. Best address during our trip so far.
