Don’t bother ordering what you want. They will just give you whatever they feel like giving you. Happened on multiple occasions almost feels intentional. Worst McDonald’s ever. Don’t bother. Burger King is up the street.

No one seemed to wanna doing there job seen multiple employees running in and out of the building and smelling like marijuana waited 20 minutes for meal and fries we’re cold

I used the drive through but the atmosphere any time I went in was always inappropriate with kids swearing, raising hell…..to employees having personal conversations/ non work related. Anyway first red flag…….the lady who I believe took my order and cashed me out at window 1 shorted me a dollar. I got my dollar back at window #2 after I explained that I was shorted…. After about a 4 minute wait! Then when handed my order,1 of 2 of my drinks were wrong. I made the employee who handed me my beverages aware….. no apology… just a “ want me to make you a new one?” at that point, I said no, gathered the small bag of food I ordered and came home. The customer service is…….I’ll just say….. is immature to say the least!

It’s McDonald’s, I’m not going to rave about the food. However the workers are almost always lovely. I come when the family is in already out and about and we don’t want to make dinner ourselves and every time I’ve came I have had such nice cashiers greet me. They always are happy to make accommodations and help me get my extra Big Mac sauce (for my big back) 🤣🤣🤣

When I was at the pick up window the employees there were being rude and unprofessional. Just standing there talking and joking around with each other and not acknowledging my presence in the slightest

I don't understand how people work at McDonald's but the general manager takes my order make my order then give me my food as 3 to 4 employees sat there speaking Spanish and hanging out. Mainly came here to kill time and achieve that goal very well. Pure waste of time

Be very careful with these people, I just ordered 5 Mcchiken, they charged me for 5 and when I got home I trusted that they gave me the food just as I asked for, it turns out that they go twice since they do the same thing to me, they charged me the 5 mcchiken and they give you 5 are crooks

While not as slow as the East Greenbush location, where you wait 20 minutes between ordering and getting the food, it comes close at times. This place is almost always packed. There are several times a day the drive-thru is backing up onto Rt-5/Market Street. This causes massive traffic jams as people often wait to turn into the lot without leaving enough room for others to go around - or there's a larger vehicle, like a truck, that simply can't fit around regardless.

There always seems to be young teens hanging out here. Usually there's no trouble, but they tend to get loud. I can't speak for the play area as I don't have children so no need for me to be in there. But I can say I've experienced employees bringing their children to work and using the play area as child care while they work. Not really sure how to feel about this, but it could definitely be worse; at least they're not left home alone.

The food is your typical McDonald's food. Usually have no issue with service and the few times my order has been wrong it was corrected immediately. I mainly knock it for the excessively long drive-thru lines, as this effects me more often than not because I have to drive by here all the time, and the fact it seems to be the popular hang out spot for kids.

This is my third visit to Amsterdam and as much into this restaurant. My experience with the service here has forced me to leave this review. How can you forget food or items necessary to complete the meal. How can one restaurant and the team be so forgetful? On the first two visits, we had to double back because an item was forgotten. Are you doing this on purpose? Is this how you scrape out more revenue?

The entire management staff should be retrained to focus on customer service. And a timeline established where their work is assessed by regional managers.

I can't believe this is McDonald's, the brand that created the Gold Standard for fast food and customer service. The service at this particular site spits in the face of all that. Their consistency in failing to satisfy my simplest request is unbelievable, unacceptable, but repairable.

Im asking for ownership and their representatives to fix this or sell the franchise to someone who can. Do better! Until then, I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

1. Waited 10 minutes for a cup of hot tea, no sugar, and no milk. When I finally received it, it was made with milk. Realizing the mistake, the team member went back to correct it. That took another 4+ minutes to make. Tea.

2. Order a ten piece nugget meal with barbecue sauce. They forgot the sauce. When we informed the team member along with a receipt, she returned with sweet and sour sauce. No biggie and no fault of her own, the ink on the recipt was barely legible.

3. Ordered a lunch meal and a breakfast meal around 11 am today. I just knew that this was not going to go right. Asked for barbecue sauce on the side. Yes, I paid extra for that. Received sweet and sour sauce instead.
Ugh...asked my son to go in and ask for barbecue sauce.

In assuming that was all, we proceeded to our destination. But they forgot the apples and raisins for the oatmeal I ordered. Some would read this review and say that I should just drive back and ask them to make it right, and you're right. I have, on the first two instances. This is me now trying to communicate with their managers for them to make it right.

Do better McDonald's, do better.
