Here's the thing, if you are blasting " you don't mess with General Lee/If you have a right to burn my flag, then I have a right to kick your " in your backyard as I walk up with my 6 yr old kid -- I'm going to turn around and leave. Next time just put up a confederate flag in the parking lot. It'll save us all time. (Had been going regularly during the summer and really liked it. But I'm getting the sense that 'my type' isn't welcome. I'll do us all a favor and stay away. Fyi, this happened in August during 'summer' season)

Dana's is a nice little spot operated by Dana, formerly of the Andes Hotel across the street. Our group of friends are long time customers of the hotel, so naturally we ventured over to Dana's. I so wanted to like it there. I've been there five or six times, but now I'm done. Last week we went in with a group of 8 guys. Ordered about $40 worth of bar food and probably $450 in beers. There were only two other customers in the place. Most times we are there, we represent 80-90% of the customers. You would think the owner would show some appreciation for us, as we are trying to support her local business. None of us has ever received a single buy back from Dana. It is expected to get one on the house after you buy 4, 5, 6 beers, right? And, she's often out on the deck, smoking with her friends or employees, and nobody is serving.I ask myself why am I there? Some say it's because we aren't locals, but I'm not so sure. I'm not going to keep supporting them.

Checked this Place out for their "mini-Oktoberfest" -to see a Performer named Gary Jennings . Free admission -Good but the Food prices where UNREAL-- $75.00 for a Oktoberfest Buffet w/Beer I believe -Now thats Crazy!!!!!!! 35.00 just for the beeer ?????!!! Me &the Honey orderd the Shrimp Bisque soup & Homemade Chili - which is $6.00 apeice . The Soup was very good but SMALL portion (ina Paper Bowl-like you would get at a Gas Station!!!). The chili -served the Same -Was much more Substantial in Quantity & nice and Hot /Beefy /Cuminy.I liked the oUtside party areas & firepits and shelters to keep Rain off of ones self - but the overall vibe of the Place is Locals, Locals , and Big Walleted ex-NYC Denizens!!Parking: medium areaKid-friendliness: I guess it would be -BUT LOUD!!!

Came here with some friends while at my mom's in the area. It was the perfect place to come for a bunch of us, sat outside, kids were entertained and just a good time. Yummy food, good service, and just nice to sit outside by the river. My boy also saw and now loves pool tables thanks to this place :P

Great ambiance and outdoor spot to grab a cocktail, listen to some tunes, show off your dart skills (or not), and sit by the fire. The river flows behind, which creates a relaxing, memorable evening. Inside was cozy and welcoming as I ordered a drink to take outside. I did not eat but rumor has it the food is great. I will definitely return for dinner.

The place is absolutely amazing! The food is so delicious :) The drinks are absolutely delicious. Try a toasted almond if you visit, they make them the best. The bar is just so relaxing and enjoyable.

if you want to be ignored when trying to get a drink at a slow bar this is the place for you. I am afraid this is locals only. such a cute outdoors but alas the wayside and Andes Hotel are way more friendly and fun places.
