** actually "0" stars** this restaurant experience compelled me to write my first review ever of a restaurant. The "chef" must have learned his Sicilian cooking skills from a cookbook bought on Amazon. The baked seafood clams were unedible mush.( only ordered because they were out of 2 other apps I tried to order). The pasta dish was mediocre at best with way over cooked pasta , very pasty. The room was small , crowded and noisey with too many tables , my table for 2 was tucked half behind a huge , hot ,cast iron radiator in a corner situated so that on one side you couldn't pull the chair out or move the table because of the wall on one side and the table partially behind the radiator on the other side. The only thing good about the meal was the wine.I would only recommend this place to people I dont like.

Had wonderful food here tonight. Food was terrific but my decaff cappuccino with sambucca and a delicious cannoli was exceptional.

I gave my godfather a gift certificate ($150) for his birthday to the restaurant based on the raves I heard from other people. He went Thursday night the night of his birthday with his wife. It was a disaster. First they were out of the app they ordered, then the had NO steak….after that they had no cheese cake and no gelato. The waitress felt terrible but no manager or owner even approached them to apologize or even try and make it right. I called the next day Friday and spoke to the manager - she was down right rude about the whole situation. They said the restaurant was lovely but food and lack of handling anything was extremely disappointing. I’ll never give this as a gift again.

Great food, worth the wait. We ended up on the porch, rather than continuing to wait.. Not bad.

My wife and I had our first dinner here last month and were very pleased by the quality of the food, the friendly service and the charming ambience. It checks all the boxes for us. We went back last week and had the same first class experience. We arrived early both times and had no problem being seated promptly. We are both looking forward to our next visit this evening.

Definitely recommend if you’re by the vineyards. We were a party of 4 and had a great time. Calamari, Ribeye Steak, Pasta Allá Nonna, Tiramisu and Chocolate Martini! Delicious food very fresh. Would definitely recommend to end the night with friends.

Il Giardino brings Sicily to NOFO. The restaurant is in an adorable historical farmhouse in Aquabogue. There are beautiful paintings in the dining rooms, white tablecloths and sunflowers on the table creating an elegant, chic atmosphere. The waitress suggested watermelon martinis and a list of intriguing specials. The heirloom tomato salad was an outstanding starter. Pasta dishes are versatile and expertly made. The fish dishes are healthy and delicious. Oh, and the affogato is one of many stellar desserts. It combines gelato and espesso... a truly ying-yang experience that is the perfect ending to a memorable meal!

The food is always good and the variety is great. However, we were sitting in the "garden." The garden could use some trimming. My mother had branches dangling in her hair. Standing water in an unused "water element" was attracting bugs, which spoiled the evening experience. Place was packed and server seemed over whelmed with large parties. Parking situation is poor.
