I love restaurants that have been around for a while, I figure they must be doing something right. That is the case with the Modern Snack Bar since 1950. I finally got to eat here. This is one of the best Reubens that I've had, fabulous juicy lean corn beef that was well balanced with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. It hit the spot. The menu was a good mix of comfort foods and the atmosphere was the charming, wood paneled dining room and a counter as well....
Being so far from home we are so happy to Feel like family. Doesn't matter what you have. Its delicious. ...On T.hanksgiving. it's all Moder.

Always an amazing meal. Feels like you're eating at a family members house and you're having home cooked food. The staff is very friendly and pleasant and provides fast excellent service. The fried chicken and the peach pie are amazing.
