Taking off one star because they are shuttering the Ardsley store and focusing on the new Tarrytown location.Ardsley has litterally been your bread and butter for 70+ years, and while we understand all good things must come to an end eventually, it's still very sad nonetheless. Riviera is, and forever will be, beloved by Ardsley.....even though you are abandoning us for our chicer cousin Rivertown ;)Its also worth noting that this is a "fancy" Westchester bakery where you can easily drop $100 on a small cake if you're not careful ;) but somehow, you can also still walk in and come out with a solid array of breakfast items for under $20!They also had a long tradition of hiring kids from our local schools.Rest in Power, OG Riviera.

Closing because they got too expensive, they stopped taking orders less than a week out, and they lost the small business customer service necessary to survive. Last time I was there on a Saturday morning it was empty.

Needed a last-minute birthday cake. Unfortunately, they weren't doing custom cakes. We ended up getting 70 mini assorted cupcakes THEY WERE THE BOMB!!! Moist flavorful no complaints and we will certainly do it again

The cake we got for my daughter and her bestie's birthday was even better than the photos. It also tasted delicious, which is not always a given with pretty cakes. Highly recommend!

Major mistake with custom cake We ordered a very special custom cake for a special event. I didn’t want to leave any room for error so I placed the order by specific directions which were all confirmed by the bakery. When we picked up the cake (which was very large) I asked if we should open the box to make sure it was our cake - I was told no, everything was done to order and it was very carefully packaged. Well, when we unboxed the cake at our special family event the cake was completely wrong and we could not use it because it would have greatly hurt one family members feelings. We were stuck with no cake which was meant to be a celebratory moment in our event, and then had to argue back and forth with the bakery to get out payment reimbursed. No apology either. Would never order anything here again.

All of my birthday cakes since I was born over 20 years ago until a few years ago were ordered from this bakery. Their standard cakes have not changed much in appearance and variety but the taste and texture inside declined after the business name change. Not that amazing anymore for chocolate cakes if you are looking for that rich almost European chocolate grade flavor, just average.

All of their baking products are phenomenal. I love it here. I get my daughters cakes, cupcakes, cookies, all the time, birthdays, and celebrations. They are so friendly and accepting.
First time I went in there and it's amazing. That might be alittle to much but it is a great bakery. The worker's was a great help I got over $30 in dinosaur,spiderman,unicorn cookies for my kids...they also have very nice ice cream cakes ...

The cakes here are creative and tasty. The key lime pie is the best I've had. Also like a variety of the baked goods. I enjoy their frozen soups and pre made sandwiches when I want a quick lunch.
