The kitchen and where you order are actually in an old caboose. How cute! Service was great. Menu was just as great. Vegan options. Hubby had breakfast platter which was perfect. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast. I had vegan burger wrap. Filled me up for the rest of the day! Great price, service. Started our day off perfectly.

Nice stop after a hike . Nice people , beer on draft and very good bbq. Pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw (which was excellent) and cornbread . Fair prices and a tasty treat

Walked in on a quiet Sunday. The lady at the counter was super friendly. We got brisket and half chicken, brisket was delicious with the homemade bbq sauce, chicken was dry and a tad too blackened on the outside. Flavor was there, just wish it was more juicy. The sides - Mac salad, potato salad, and beans were all great. Definitely get the brisket if you end up there!

One of THE best briskets I've eaten in my life. Just phenomenal! We came a little early so they only had the brisket ready. But we will be back for the ribs.

I visited on the last day of the season, despite the fact it was still 70 degrees out. The breakfast was great for the price and the service was perfect. The place just vibes with diner feels.

This spot is such a gem! We had the most delicious biscuits and gravy and the homemade apple cider donuts were to die for. Staff couldn't have been more lovely. Will be going back!

We never drive by without getting something to eat. They have a smoker out front and have barbecue going sometimes. You can get your boat or kayak steam clean pressure washed to put on the reservoir . Cider donuts. Fishing tackle. It's like a farm stand for sportsman. My wife loves it too :-)

I love this spot! Look for the kayak above sign and you will know you have arrived. Seems to be something here for everyone. Sandwiches, BBQ, beer, baked goods, fresh apples, and bric brac. There is also an adjoining bait and tackle shop with necessary kayak/ row boat cleaning services and registration for nearby nyc reservoirs. TJs can get very busy on the weekends but there is plenty of parking around side of the building. I really enjoy grabbing a roomy table in front & chowing down on some fresh BBQ with a cold beer. Oh...dont forget to try the homemade cider donuts! Owners are super cool and accomodating. If it is busy, please be patient and respectful to people that work very hard to make TJs a great place to stop.

Great food and service at the cafe. Rowboat and kayak steam clean station to put on the reservoir. Fishing tackle, and live bait Including shiners and sawbillies at the tackle shop next door. Seasonal items and fresh produce for sale at great prices too.

Phenomenal, exquisite bbq food. I'm so happy. Good outside seating. Should've taken photos of the food but we are it too quickly...4 excellent craft beers on tap.
