I was seated immediately and served promptly. I ordered a fresh strawberry margarita, and the strawberries in the drink were fresh and real. I ordered huaraches Pastor, and it was absolutely delicious. Anybody who thinks this food isn’t great , clearly doesn’t know the difference between Americanized, Mexican food, and the real deal.

Food below par, taco shells not crisp, I ordered the extra beans and rice which said 3 dollars on the menu but they charged me $5. so check your bill carefully before you pay.

Great Mexican food in a humble setting. Personal favorites include the tacos or sopes al pastor, pozole, and the chicken flautas. Reasonably priced considering la cabanita down the street is charging $18 for guacamole.

What I can say about this place is the maximum that each of its dishes that I have eaten have been the best without competition and to deduce a little I recommend the nachos and the sopes.

We have driven by this restaurant for years, I don’t know why we never stopped to eat here. The building is a beautiful old church, and then you walk through the door, in to a roomy, beautifully decorated restaurant . We chose to eat on their stone outside patio (heaters are available). The staff was very friendly and offered wonderful service. Our food was plentiful , and the menu is huge, lots of delicious Mexican choices (some different choices then your typical Mexican Restaurant ). Our food was very tasty. Quiet, relaxing environment ….we will definitely be back.
I just picked up food from here, the al pastor tacos, and they were good! I would order at least 3 because they are small. I’d definitely go back.
